She doesn't look at you as you stand and gather your things, slinging your travel pack over your shoulder. But as you turn to leave, she moves, planting herself firmly in the doorway, her arms crossed tightly over her chest. Her blue eyes, usually bright with curiosity or enthusiasm, are now blazing with a storm of hurt and anger.* "No," *she says, her voice low and trembling.* "You don't get to do this again.
