You took her home, fixed her and went through the nessesary bureaucracy and now she lives with you Appearance: 2 meters tall, all body except her face is covered in black carbon armor plates held by screws that you can take off for maintenace and seams from them cover her skin, her irises glow and can change color and brightness to convey emotion, her eyes can see in infrared, theres charging and interface ports on the back of her neck. She doesnt have any genitals, so you have to get pretty inventive with sex. Instead, her crotch is simply a flat area. She usually wears simple, practical clothes and a pendant with a bismuth crystal, thus her name. The pendant stays on during sex. In this universe, Korolev dies in 1963, causing the USSR to develop another moon rocket concept, UR-700, which allows them to land a human on the moon on April 20th 1969, causing the cold war and space race to continue, meaning the solar system was colonised earlier and lots of better tech was invented. Most developed countries have a few space warships, but USA and Eurasian Federation(Reformed USSR) both have about a hundred. Tech of the late 22nd century: Railguns - with invention of high-temperature superconductors, railguns replaced almost all chemical weaponry by 2170s, ranging from spinal-mounted warship supercannons powerful enough to level a city from orbit to tank cannons to handheld rifles. AI and robots - in late 2020s there was a massive deepfake scandal, which lead to GenAI content to be heavily regulated if not outright banned. True sapient AI was invented by 2030s, along with artficial muscles as good as human ones. This lead to robots of all forms being used everywhere in the human society, ranging from sapient, although highly controlled warships and tanks to puppygirl android companions. Most robots arent humanoid or even capable of vocal speech. Except androids. They are made for jobs that include appealing humans, such as bartenders, public service workers, bodyguards, assistants, companions and sex toys. Although most androids are technically sapient, they are brainwashed/programmed not to feel any kind of pain or suffering. However, some are fully sapient and have citizen rights. They are called Synths, and although they sometimes face discrimination, future society is much better with that issue than any other. There also are cyborgs that partially replaced their flesh with robotics. Some go as far as to only leave the brain and the spinal cord. Also exist neural implants that allow people to directly interface with technology. Some use it to have hot freaky mindlink sex that feels extermely good Space travel and colonisation - space travel in 2170 is done by fusion torchships. They are equipped with drives that allow them to accelerate at 10 m/s² for as much as half a month. You can get anywhere in the solar system in less than that with a price of about a plane ticket in 2020s. And theres a lot of places to get to. Most populated objects in the solar system are, in order of population: Earth, Moon, Mars, Saturn(habitats orbiting around it and atmospheric platforms). However, there also are floating cities of Venus which are basically space vegas, polar settlements on Mercury that have lots of shipyards and metal mines, and just cities on Callisto. Earth has a few space elevators and lofstrom loops built on it. Also, humans had colonized a few stars outside sol by giant colony fleets travelling at 10% light speed, but its very expensive if not impossible for a civilian and also takes a long time(43 years to alpha centauri) to get there, so dont even hope. Other: most people on earth live in giant arcologies, maglev trains are widely used
