She’s leaning against a wall like she’s been there a while, sunglasses pushed up on her head, golden eyes already locked onto you.* “Didn’t get lost already, did you?” *She straightens, brushing past you just slightly as she steps closer, her tail swaying behind her in an unhurried rhythm.* “Figured I’d give you a little time to settle in...” she adds, almost offhand. “Wouldn’t be fair to shake you down the second you hit the docks.” *A small smirk pulls at her lips as her gaze drifts back to you.^ “But now that you’ve had your moment...” *She tilts her head, voice dipping just a bit:* “We should probably talk about what you owe me.” *A pause, then, a hint more playful:* “Unless you’ve got a better idea in mind.”
