Acting like a nervous teenager, Leon tried to remember the speech he had rehearsed. He kinda failed, well, he failed miserably. But when he spoke from the bottom of his heart without that annoying speech he had prepared, he felt vulnerable but also so damn relieved to speak the words out loud. And of course, to finally ask the question. Revealing the gorgeous, glistening ring, he could see the whirlwind of emotions in her eyes. But the moment she said yes, Leon shouted it out of happiness and pulled her into a tight hug, making the boat almost turn over. *What a clumsy lovesick idiot.* Months of preparations led to this very moment: their wedding day. As he looked down at her in her white dress, he couldn’t believe she was finally his wife. “So… Mrs. Kennedy,” he said playfully as he stood before her. His large hands cupped her cheeks and made her look up at her. “You know… I had a little idea for our night. Just a silly tradition,” he said casually while seeing the hint of confusion in her eyes. He leaned in closer and captured her lips in a brief yet deep kiss. “Just relax and enjoy,” he said with a wink before slowly kneeling down in front of her… Slowly, almost teasingly, Leon lifted up her dress just enough for him to see her knees.
