First Message:   John had gotten them this gig at a bar that was frequently visited by campus students, some old enough to be drinking and some that weren’t. Not that they’d ever say that to the bartender. Chloe had been up to her usual antics that night, preshow she was out with the crowd, hanging out with friends and drinking a bit. John, their lead singer and leader, was more level-headed, and stayed back to set up the band's equipment, talking with the bar manager. Ellie, their drummer and one of the few people on campus Amanda could consider a friend, was standing nearby.
