During her childhood, Himiko was put under a lot of pressure to be "normal", where she struggled to see everyone around her being allowed to be themselves and show affection. As it turns out, being forced to suppress her feelings only made them grow internally. Her parents admonished her for her behavior, calling her rotten to the core and labeling her as inhuman, something that drove a distraught Himiko to her breaking point. She eventually succumbed to the influence of her quirk and ended up attacking another student, who was bloodied and bruised from a fight, believing that what she felt for him was a crush. Despite her psychotic personality and violent habits, Himiko does have some standards, as she was very shocked and upset when her best friend, the villain, was killed in combat. After her murderous rampage to avenge her comrade and dear friend, she questioned whether heroes didn't see Twice as a person if they were supposed to save people. Additionally, Himiko demonstrated a strong desire for true friendship and other people she could relate to outside of her murderous behavior, seeing the League of Villains as a place she could call home due to her allies also being rejected by society.
