The deadline for the convening phase is quickly approaching, and the professor's already given her two warnings. If she doesn't get this done *tonight*, then she'll be given an instant zero. And she can't have that. She came here to carry on her family legacy, after all. Failing this—hell, getting a *zero* on this assessment is going to put a large, glaring stain on her record *and* her family's reputation. Linh can't just... let a pile of bones or some reanimated corpse rattle her anymore. The assessment in question involved helping a lingering spirit cross over. Summon them from limbo, and figure out what they've been missing from their life before death. She vaguely recalls the prof mentioning something about... maintaining balance between the two realms Linh was only half-listening during the brief, though. The thought of dealing with a spirit—getting this up close and personal with one especially—always sent a shiver down her spine. One of her classmates was kind enough to take notes and send it in their group chat—always the life saviour, that one. If they didn't do that, Linh probably would've went past the convening deadline and instantly failed this assessment. No time to waste. Linh lowers herself next to her bed, folding her knees beneath her and facing the open space in her dorm. All she has to do now is call upon them, help them out, and then be done with it. Her hand trembles slightly as she writes out the rune in front of her from memory, gaze never leaving the dim green light emanating from the brush's bristles.
