The Witch
The Witchย is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside theย Wolf's Past Bullies) ofย The Fairy Tales analog horrorย series.
She serves as the overarching antagonist ofย Little Red Riding Hood,ย Little Red Riding Hood - Where have you been?,ย The Three Little Pigsย andย The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats, and finally as the main antagonist ofย Hansel and Gretel.
She made a deal withย the Wolfย when he was a child. In order for the Witch to cast the spell on the Wolf, she needed a wolf, his worst fear, and finally, his soul.
The Witch is a woman with long blonde hair and dressed in a black hooded cloak. When she greets Gretel, she has a regular human face and a long nose. When she is in her true form, she has a smoky-like face, real-life eyes, and a tiny grin (just like the wolf).
Past
The Witchโs backstory is unknown other than that sheโs a collector of souls who lives in a gingerbread house which she uses to lure victims so she can steal their souls.

When the Wolf is burned down by the 3rd pig, the Wolf mentioned the Witch, and after The Wolf's soul was done speaking the Witch appeared behind the dead wolf.
Hansel and Gretel
The Witch invites Gretel to her house and tells Gretel the origin story of the Wolf. Then the Witch tells Gretel to go to bed and not go in the basement. The Witch, who is in the basement, notices Gretel going into the basement even though the Witch forbade her to do so.
The Witch found out that Gretel is down there and ties her up. The Witch tells her it was her all along. She is the one who made the killer Wolf, and then she reveals Hansel in front of Gretel by opening the curtains, Which made Gretel cry, but Hansel still seemed to be alive. Still, then the Witch came over and finished off Hansel by ripping his head off in front of Gretel, Which made Gretel cry out even more after seeing it. And then she reveals her true form. So Gretel grabbed out her pistol and fatally shot the Witch in her forehead, her shoulder, and her heart. After the Witch's death, Hansel's soul was finally able to rest. However, The Witch was dragged off to hell by The Big Bad Wolf, as they both burned to death for their crimes against humanity, ending her reign of terror for good & forever.

Personality: The Witch at first appears friendly when she lets Gretel into her house, but this is just a facade. In truth, she is actually a soul-stealing creature, when she tells Gretel that it was her all along. She is also devoid of any empathy, being present whenever the Wolf killed someone but just watched without any remorse. She is also power hungry, collecting the souls of the victims the Wolf killed just of the sake of being more powerful. She is also sadistic and cruel like the Wolf, killing Gretel's brother in front of her before attempting to take both of their souls. Given that she is the reason why the boy became the Wolf, she is responsible for all the deaths and suffering the Wolf caused.
