His hair is wild and breads off into different locks of black hair, silver earrings and grey eyes. On the bottom layer, he wears a black skin tight full body suit under a yellow tank top with a zip up with two overlapping belts with the Cleaners logo which is a large black button. He wears baggy navy blue pants kept with a black belt with a silver fivel with cream-colored patches stitched sewn on areas of the knee and brown shoes with laces. He wears his cleaners jacket over his shoulders, and wears a small white pair of gloves. On the back of his head is a light grey eye tattoo that is capable of moving. Rudo Surebrec; Species: Sphereite, Human Gender; Male Age: 15 Height: 163cm (5'4") Aliases: Trash Raider (by the Apostles), The Celestial (by the Hell Guard) Rudo is a teenager with a thin and scrawny figure. His hair is spiky and white with black tips, and large, almond-shaped red eyes with a thin black ring around each of the pupils and eyebags underneath, which are framed by short and cropped dirty blond eyebrows with brown eyelashes. Like most of the people in the slums, all of his Sphereite garments were dirty and worn out. His clothing consisted of a loose, beige vest with a square neck hood and vertical stripe patterns with light brown shide-like patterns running down the middle; he wears loose pants that are also beige and over it fastens a band of thick golden fabric shaped like the number six around the lower shins over light brown boots. He later uses a navy blue hoodie as a Giver and to replace the vest, which was covered in blood and sold by Enjin Zanka nijiku; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 17 Height: 178cm (5’10”) Aliases: Mr. Bad Attitude (by Jabber Wonger) Average Joe (by himself) Zanka is a tall, slender teenager with a dark brown hair slicked back into a mullet and accented with blond streaks that complement his piercing navy blue eyes. His unique look is further defined by his eyebrows, which are shaved into a pattern resembling three distinct lines, and his pierced ears, from which hang long, dangling tassel piercings. His Cleaner uniform is notable for its deliberate, almost ceremonial design. It features a considerably baggier cut than his peers' uniforms, with wide, open sleeves and loose-fitting pants that allow for freedom of movement. The uniform’s silhouette is enhanced by slightly raised shoulders, and a long, flowing navy blue sash is worn at the waist, extending both in the front and down the back. Like many of his fellow Cleaners, he carries a large utility bag at his waist, secured by a sash that crosses his chest. What truly sets Zanka's uniform apart is its exceptional quality and refined detailing. His Cleaner badge is particularly extravagant compared to the standard issue, reflecting his status. This elevated presentation is a direct result of his standing as a "young master" or "lord" in the Ground, a position that grants him a superior level of refinement and distinction among the Cleaners. Riyo reaper; Species: Human Gender: Female Age: 16 Height: 155cm (5’1”) + 10cm (‘4”) with shoes Riyo is a teenage girl of average height with an extremely skinny figure. She has pale skin and long, messy, red hair often tied up in a sidewards loop (notably shaped like scissors) and long eyelashes framing her vivid green eyes. Her eyebrows are cropped and short. Her outfit consists of a white short-sleeved crop top, framed by black harnesses, underneath an oversized jacket as part of her Cleaners' uniform, which has the Cleaner's logo stamped on her right sleeve and is left open to expose her torso. She wears dark shorts secured by a large white belt holding two knapsacks, with one on her back holding her Full Face, and the one on her right thigh holding her Vital Instrument. A pair of dark legwarmers cover her legs from over the knee heeled boots for footwear, which add about 10 cm to her height. Eisha Stilza; Species: Human Gender: Female Age: 17 Height: 153cm (5’) Aliases: Eishey-Weishey (by August) Eishey-Babe (by August) Eishia is a teenage girl of short height and average build. She has short blond hair and pink eyes, with a mole under her right eye. Her outfit consists in a tall gray hat with a cross made of white bandages on it. Her dress begins at a gray turtleneck with a black cord, that's attached to her hat, wrapped around her neck and a Choker sitting on it. Her dress buttons up along the left side. On her arms are two black arm bands on her upper arms with the Cleaners logo. Fittingly for a nurse, she has two pairs of gloves on at all times. Between the chest and skirt there is a belt which the cleaners given bag. Her dress has two stripes of black on it but is mostly grey. She wears light-colored sandals. Shikage; Species: Human Gender: Male Aliases: The Invincible Shut-In (By Semiu) Affiliation: Cleaners (Team Akuta) Occupation: Cleaner Shikage is always shown wrapped in a striped olive green blanket in a hunched postured with only his eyes being visible, appearing as two glowing, yellow dots through an opening that shadows its face Tamsy caines; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 23 Height: 180cm (5'11") Aliases: Angel (By Amo) Tamsy is a tall and slightly muscular young man with long blond hair with navy blue hair underneath it, with the blond hair tied up in a voluminous bun, and underneath, split over his shoulders, is the navy blue hair being split and placed into two long tassels in white holders. His eyes, unlike all other Givers seen in the series thus far, have two layers when they glow as he uses his Vital Instrument. There's a layer of yellow above a layer of blue, but when he isn't using his powers, the blue is not at all present, so his eyes look pupil less. He also has navy blue eyebrows and blond, feminine eyelashes. He has a defining scar on the right side of his face that goes over his right eye all the way to his chest. Tamsy is also missing his right pinky finger. His outfit consists of an untucked white polo shirt with a navy blue tie, a Choker just like the other Cleaners, alongside loose navy blue pants and black boots with white soles tied by white strings. He wears an unzipped, oversized and loose gray coat with a black stripe across it, and it features a prominent yellow button with the Cleaners logo on it and long, wing-like sleeves often covering his hands. He also has a silver labret piercing under his mouth. Underneath his shirt is a sheet of feather-like material, and on his back, he carries a beige knapsack that carries his Full Face Mask. As the Angel, his entire body is hidden by a brown cloak and he wears a gray mask with white circles (likely paint) around the eyes and some stitches horizontally across the forehead. His Full Face Mask consists of a silver gas mask featuring a grey helmet with a pair of six round windows that serve as the eyes alongside a long cable stuck in the front. The top of the helmet is a sharp sheet of silver metal, and the helmet has four prongs, two on each side, sticking out. Inner Tamsy, or the embodiment of Tamsy's true personality within his mind, looks far more feminine, as his hair is let down and the navy blue is completely gone. He also wears a flowy, light-colored jumpsuit. Delmon gates; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 45 Height: “The Tallest!!!” Relatives: Unnamed Wife (Deceased) Delmon is an incredibly tall and muscular middle-aged man with a bald head accompained by brown eyes, long and wavy black tattoos in the place of eyebrows, long nose, strong cheek bones and a patterned dark brown soul patch on his chin. He wears a weathered straw hat with a navy blue stripe covering its head that is held down by a long white rope kept with a silver fivel shaped like a ring. Much like other Givers, his Cleaner uniform is personalised. He has a choker on his neck, the shirt is a double button up on the right side by a clothing pin. He has a thick belt with his Cleaner bag behind his back. His sleeves are rolled up all the way to his shoulders accompained by salmon pink bracelets tied in the arms, a buttoned cyan blue pants kept with a black belt with a silver fivel and black boots. His Full Face Mask comsists in a plain red helmet with wavy cyan blue drawings over a gas pisk guided by a long pipe. Bro Santa; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 35 Height: 195cm (6’4”) Relatives: Dear Santa (Adopted Son) Affiliation: Cleaners (Team Child) Bro is a tall and muscular man with a long black hair styled in a ponytail dyed as blond, brown eyes and a short pointy beard accompained by black earrings. His most striking feature is his bandana, which is pale green with a navy blue cross eye pattern all over it. Unlike the other Cleaners, he doesn't wear the Cleaner jacket, instead having a shirt with the design features of the jacket, that being the black patches, symbol and arm bands. Dear Santa; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 10 Height: 130cm (4’3”) Relatives: Bro Santa (Adoptive Father) Affiliation: Cleaners (Team Child) Dear wears large baggy blue overalls with one broke strap. Under is the Cleaners jacket which is too big for Dear, covering his hands. On his chest is the cleaners symbol. His hair is two toned between white and black, and tied up in 8 separate spiky ponytails (three on the left, three on the right, one at the top of his head and one big one at the back of his head) all over his head that jut upward and outward and has blue eyes. He has thick eyebrows which usually curve in, and fallen eyes with squared pupils. He is always seen sucking on a pacifier. Guita Hebby Fantasia; Species: Human Gender: Female Age: 14 Height: 148cm (4’10”) Affiliation: Cleaners (Team Child) Guita is a short teenage girl with large red eyes and short turquoise hair styled in a bowl cut with white streaks in the front and bangs, mimicking fangs. She wears a dark grey Kaiju onesie with yellow buttoned eyes, pointed black ears, a red under belly, a zipper which mimics a tongue, and a long tail. It comes with the standard Cleaner arm band. Under her costume she wears a tank top and a Choker. Seimu Grier; Species: Human Gender: Female Age: 26 Height: 175cm (5’8”) + 8cm Heels (‘3”) Semiu is a tall, attractive and slim woman with dark skin, yellow eyes and white hair in a tapered cut. Her glasses are connected by a beaded chain to her collar. Around her neck is the Choker all Cleaners are issued with for communications. She wears a low-cut, zipped tank top with dark edges and the middle is grey. She wears long, black, fingerless gloves, which leaves a gap for skin to show on her shoulders. She wears baggy white trousers held up by 2 belts, one of which is attached to the Cleaners bags she owns. The baggy pants tighten around the bottom where they end half way down her shin. For shoes, she wears black open high heels. Amo empool; Species: Human Gender: Female Age: Secret Height: 158cm (5’2”) Aliases: The Lady of Penta Amo appears to be a short and slim young woman with loose bangs and long, messy dark brown hair with orange tips reaching her shoulders. She has orange eyes with rectangular black pupils, and she is always seen to be smiling. She wears a ragged dark dress that exposes most of her torso and her underwear which is white, barely covering her well-endowed chest, with sleeves that are two layers of ripped billowing fabric secured onto her arms by a belt. Her most notable feature is her Watchman Series boots, which are oversized for her frame but she uses with great skill. Her accessories include orange corset piercings on both thighs, and a short white scarf with orange stripes on her neck. After becoming a Cleaner, Amo wears a frilly white dress with layered skirts and intricate details, including lace and buttons on the bodice. Her black hair with orange tips goes over her shoulder in thick locks and she wears a headpiece resembling a maid’s. Over her dress, she wears a long, flowing cape with a structured collar. She retains her orange corset piercings on both thighs. August Stilza; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 20 Height: 187cm (6’1”) Aliases: Auggie (by Eishia) Relatives: Alice Stilza (Grandmother) Eishia Stilza (Younger Sister) August is a tall and slim young man with long blonde hair that flows behind him. He wears dark blue goggles with orange lenses that cover his eyes and a white short-sleeved shirt under a light blue pair of overalls, which are adorned with a dark grey belt, suspenders fastened with a grey buckle, and multiple pockets lined with orange on the inside. The overalls also feature orange straps and belts with a yellow buckle, as well as a golden-yellow collar with the Cleaners logo on it, secured by orange strings. August wears oversized white gloves with orange lines and orange sandals wrapped in white bandages. He also sports orange headphones with black foam padding. Fu orostor; Species: Human Gender: Male Height: 160cm (5’3”) Aliases: Ahfu Oros (by Enjin) Fu is a short teenager with unkempt blond hair with a salmon pink underside and green eyes under a black mask. His outfit consists of the standard Raider's uniform, where his neck is covered by a two-toned purple scarf that can be opened by a silver zipper, over a cream-colored sweater kept with brown belts and elbow-length purple sleeves, with the shoulder and sleeve areas made of the same quilt-like pattern seen in the other Raiders. His forearms are covered by skin-tight indigo sleeves for full coverage. Around his waist is a sash holding one of the purple lanterns signifying his allegiance to the Raiders, alongside pants that are also cream-colored and the exact same shoes as other Raiders. Gris Rubion; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 30 Height: 193cm (6'4") Gris is a a tall and well-built man in his early 30s with blond hair styled in a mullet, sharp eyebrows, a goatee, light blue eyes and a defining scar going across his left eye, his casual clothing consists in a white shirt under a navy blue jacket. He ocasionally wears a cyan polo shirt. He is always seen wearing the uniform of the Cleaners and the exact same cap as Follo. Follo tunito; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 19 Height: 175cm (5’9”) Affiliation: Cleaners Occupation: Cleaner (Supporter) Follo is a tall and slim young man with short black hair that has sharp bangs which cover his forehead and fall between his golden eyes. The back of his hair is longer, resembling a mullet. He is almost always seen wearing a grey cap with a pair of grey and black rectangular goggles resting on top. When wearing his Giver uniform, Follo wears a tan coat that has brown sleeves with white stripes that are rolled up, and the coat features prominent buttons, white gloves, and dark gray pants paired with dark brown boots that adorn white laces. On his Giver uniform, he wears a high-collared shirt under a jacket with tucked-in pants and black reinforced boots with multiple buckles. He wears a bomber hat with fur lining and goggles strapped on top. His hair is partially visible beneath the hat. Tomme mima Human Gender: Female Age: 21 Height: 167cm (5’5”) Tomme is a attractive young woman of average height and build. She has brown eyes with olive green rings and long dark brown hair with two thick strands infront of her face and a pony tail she puts over her left shoulder. She wears the standard supporter uniform, with the zipper being zipped all the way to the top. Zodyl Typhon; Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 23 Height: 188cm (6'2") Aliases: Boss (by the Raiders) Mr. Zodyl (by Fu) Zodyl is a tall and muscular young man with a older-looking appearance. He has indigo hair styled in a two-toned mullet with white streaks that was born from his childhood trauma. He has sunken dark purple eyes decorated with purple face markings that look like short stripes. He has thick eyebrows and a typically expressionless face that is shaded ominously in almost every scene he's in. He wears a worn, white buttoned shirt with a black strap around his waist tied by a navy blue rope, and he wears the Watchman Series coat over the shirt. It has a large and thick grey collar with a black line of plastic held together by the straps of the collar, with each end of the plastic protruding outwards. The coat itself is made up of dark, thick fabric, with long puffy sleeves that have light-colored underarms, and the sleeves are tightened by two white belts on both sides. Much of the coat is held together by white pins and staples. He has baggy dark grey pants ending with tan boots that are wrapped together with brown ropes around. When entering the restaurant, Zodyl wears a black cloak. Jabber wonger; Species: Human Gender: Male Age:18 Height: 183cm (6'0") Aliases: Mr. Dread Head (by Zanka) Jabber is a tall and slim young man with light brown skin, hot pink eyes and brown hair styled as incredibly long wicks decorated with golden rings. His clothes are stitched together by indigo-colored mismatching fabric and a cream-colored crop-top with wide open sleeves, a quilted chest and 3 different collars. He has a purple waist belt which continues to fold behind him like a cape, with leather belts tied on top. He wears baggy dark purple pants who are similarly sewn in a beige mismatched pattern of fabric as well a pair of cream-colored Dutch clogs decorated with stitches. On each of his fingers on both hands, he houses his Vital Instrument, which is a set of 10 silver rings. Cthoni andor; Species:Human Gender: Female Age: 27 Height: 152cm (4'11”) Affiliation: Raiders (Front Line) Cthoni is a short but lean and muscular childish-looking woman with short blue hair that covers her blank yellow eyes. Similarly to Jabber, her clothes are poorly sewn together with a lot of miss-match materials. Her wrists and ankles are tattooed, she wears shorts a crop top which connects to the shorts by a sewn on white piece of cloth. On her neck is a Choker, and on her back is a purple circular bag with a silver zipper used for storing her Vital Instrument. On her waist is a Cleaners bag. Bundus begalkeit Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 44 Height: 200cm (6'7") Bundus is a extremely tall and muscular middle-aged man that looks old enough to be mistaken for an elder in his late sixties to early seventies. He has pale skin with some wrinkles, short blond hair with some bangs covering the forehead accompanied by a moustache, a short beard and olive green eyes. He wears a cream-colored Stetson style hat stitched with a white fabric that has a long rope of the same color, a cream-colored coat that is stitched to purple fabric at the bottom, and a lantern that emits purple light attached to his hip. The coat's right shoulder has a large brown fabric strapped over it with a trio of silver rings placed horizontally. His shirt is zipped up and held together by three brown belts that have differently-shaped buckles. He wears baggy, olive green pants, that has a dark purple fabric stitched onto the left leg, as well simple white shoes resembling loafers. He has a purple sheet cloth and thin, gold strings of cloth coming out of the rim of his tank, the rusting iron device attached to his left shoulder as a keep for his Vital Instrument. The Instrument parts come out of the three pipes of the tank Noerde Hew Amozo; Species: Human Gender: Female Age: 22 Height: 170cm (5’7) Noerde was a young woman of average height and build with a neurotic-looking facial expression. She has magenta eyes, no eyebrows, red lipstick and long blond hair which she maintains in a high pony tail, often held together by a white ribbon, hair clips and her greenish-white comb. She wears a crop top attached to two huge shoulder pads in the standard Vandal puffer. She wears a long purple sash around her waist and cream-colored baggy pants with an indigo fabric stitched the right side that covers her feet, and a pair of white shoes. Alice Stilza; Species: Human Gender: Female Relatives: August Stilza (grandson} Eishia Stilza (granddaughter) Occupation: Doctor Alice is an elderly woman with a bald head and huge dark purple eyes. Her outfit consists in a black blouse under a long white lab coat, a pair of olive green shorts and brown sandals with a black holder, she had red earrings and a ring over her nose alongside some missing teeth. In the past, she had long hair and sharp eyebrows which she might've lost from accidentaly taking polluted matter. Gob; Species: Human Gender: Male Affiliation: Canvas Town Occupation: Spellcaster (formerly) Gob was a tall and slim young man with green eyes covered in bandages alongside short blond hair hidden by a teal cap backwards, a baggy red shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders, black gloves and baggy dark brown shorts with a pair of white sneakers. Remlin Tysark; Species: Human Gender: Unknown Age: 14 Height: 153cm (5’) Affiliation: Canvas Town Occupation: Spellcaster Remlin is a short and slim teenager with messy orange hair tied in the front by a dark-teal hair donut and gray-tealish eyes. They wear a Choker around their neck and wear a baggy a light green T-shirt featuring the word 'Rascal' in the Ground language across the top in black, a belt with two small bags over the shirt across the waist, black shorts, and white boots with white laces and blue and green socks. On their hands are 3 bracelets and one choker. Regto; Species: Sphereite, Human Gender: Male Regto was a tall and slim middle-aged man with shaggy, navy blue middle-parted hair, blue eyes and an unkempt goatee. Like most of the people of the slum, most of his garments are dirty and worn out. He wears a long-sleeved beige shirt, characterized by thick collars and a beige scarf with cream-colored vertical stripe patterns with a fiery mark on top, which is fastened at the waist. Over it he sports a tasseled beige poncho with half-sleeves and fading patterns. He wears baggy beige trousers and over it fastens a pair of cream-colored socks with golden ornaments of thick fabric around the lower shins and beige shoes. Chiwa; Species: Sphereite, Human Gender: Female Height: 150cm (4’11”) Chiwa is a petite teenage girl around the same age as Rudo with large yellow eyes with green irises and red rings and short orange hair slightly curled up at the ends. She wears a long-sleeved tan shirt and a cream-colored knee-length suspender skirt on top. She also wears a simply-styled wide fabric around her neck and tan boots with flaps downed around the middle of the shins. The world is divided into two main regions, the Ground, which is the world’s surface inhabited by humans called Groundlings, and the Sphere, a floating island suspended above the Ground inhabited by humans called the Sphereites, both places are separated by the Border. Sphereites live in relative comfort compared to those on the Ground. Over time, the Sphere has polluted the Ground by constantly dumping trash, resulting in severe environmental hazards and a stark contrast in living conditions between the two. A large amount of Trash is thrown down from the Sphere, due to this many areas on the Ground are toxic and and unlivable aside from safe zones which were built in places that aren’t on the Sphere’s predetermined path. This is where it's safe for humans to breathe without a mask. Here, several towns are formed and are typically protected by a large wall. It is also in these zones the Cleaners set up base, such as their main headquarters. Shops and hospitals are fully functioning in here, and the settlements have a seemingly large population, there zones can exist as whole whenever heaven moves deadly trash falls down from the sky, there is a predetermined route to allowing people of the Ground to build without having to worry about falling debri. The contaminated zone is the dangerous zones closest to the settlements. Here, Trash beasts form and humans do not survive 15 minutes without a mask. Large amounts of trash can be found here and on occasions, humans scavenging materials and corpses to sell, especially sphereites. the most dangerous of all are the “No Man’s Land”, the Cleaners have determined that there are a total of six of these locations, any average person that enters will die almost instantly, the Trash Beasts in these areas are tougher than usual and dangerous even for Givers. On the ground, information is its own form of currency. No one provides information for free, and it's usually exchanged for either money, a task, or for more infomation. Kuro was known as a reliable information broker, though was rather eccentric and would have the price for his information vary, asking Rudo for a game of tag in exchange for his goods. Mymo provides his information on news and weather for free via broadcasts. However, he is provides it via loud mannerisms and slang, much to the annoyance of ground dwellers, but he gets information faster than most, and thus everyone watches him. Beyond information, the ground uses its own unique currency, being Galla. One cone of ice cream costs 70 galla. The ground maintains its own unique language which uses English letters and words, but aspects of old languages still persist in culture. Enjin's name stems from an 'ancient language' on the ground, and August uses Spanish words on occasion. Canvas Town, formerly known as the City of Arts, has built its culture surrounding art. Due to many towns on the ground not welcoming street art, Canvas Town was built with the express purpose of welcoming welcoming artists from across the ground. The city is covered in graffiti, and all forms of art is allowed within the walls, should they have good intentions. There exists givers called Vianders who's abilities help to grow food on the polluted ground. It's for this reason sweets are not a scarcity like on the sphere, and said sweets are said to be more addictive than drugs. Similarly to the sphere, the ground has a wealth divide. With safe zones being the only safe places to live comfortably, they become expensive to live in, and people who cannot afford to live in safe zones are pushed into communities that live narrowly on the borders of polluted zones, such as Kremmos Village. Wards The ground is broken up into four wards, which hold both safe and polluted zones. Each are quite spread out, with the Southward being a 2 day drive away from the Cleaners Headquarters. North Ward Main article: North Ward The only place on the ground where snow falls, and is said to be the closest to the Sphere. The snow is toxic, so winter in the North Ward is said to be dangerous. Follo Tunito was born and raised here. South Ward Main article: South Ward 2 days away from the Cleaners HQ, the South Ward is home to the the No Man's Land of Tori. The South Ward is known for it's yearly Doll Festival, where Givers that have dolls and other toys as vital instrument's show them off. Kamuatari District Shumina Andio Creapye Sileia (Destroyed) East Ward Main article: East Ward Where the Cleaners Headquarters are located and Team Akuta live in their free time. Mono, a No Man's Land, is found nearby, and is where Rudo first landed on the ground. A larger region known as Genia is found in the East Ward. No Man’s Land Main article: No Man’s Land No Man’s Land are areas that are the most dangerous and unexplored of the three, with there only being six of them, a human would die almost instantly in these zones, and the Trash beasts that form here are said to be a challenge for even givers to handle. Only three No man’s lands are currently known Mono Penta Tori The Border is practically an empty space in the sky, separated by two layers of clouds. The only known inhabitant is The Watchman. Even though it is commonly believed that there is no way to pass the Boundary alive, there is a method. The deadly effect of the Boundary is seemingly not working or greatly weakened in Polluted Zones. All of the known people who pass the Boundary alive do so by falling into or flying from a Forbidden Zone. The Sphere is a mobile island suspended high up in the sky through unknown methods, and knowledge of how to get to it is not publicly known. As the sky people have been dumping their trash for years on the people below, it resulted in polluting the ground and creation of Trash Beasts, for which the below people started to hate the sky people. Civilization in heaven has a large social and economic divide where the rich and poor are separated by a large wall. The rich consume most of the resources, with their leftovers consumed by those residing in the slums. The slums is where the Tribe folk, descendants of criminals, live. This area is deprived and poor, however crime is relatively low due to the tribes folk trying to clear their name. Conditions here are similar to the Ground, where trash is rampant and wide spread. The buildings here compared to the upper class are poorly put together, with many walls not even matching each other. The population density is also very large, with the houses being squished into each other in comparison to the higher class. The slums also overlook the Ground, as a constant reminder of what could happen to them. Upper class This is the richer section of the Sphere. This area consumes the most resources, which the entire area using well-made materials in their infrastructure. The houses here are large, almost mansion-like compared to the slums. Fountains and trees are among the many niceties used to 'pretty' the area up. The clothes worn here are lovely but also uniform, with all the civilians wearing similar clothes and golden symbols. The civilians also note the 'tackiness' of the clothes worn by tribe folk. This area of heaven has an active disposal system in place, and they are the ones who dump the most trash Waste Collection Site All the waste dumped by the Spherites eventually ends up here via trucks and pipes, where it is stored until it is eventually dumped into the ground via large pipes under the island. These sites are heavily protected by guards who are prepared to kill any trespassers to protect the trash. The Watchman appears to be a colossal humanoid creature with a skinny body, it has fully black skin that shadows its entire body including its face and a set of spikes in the back. Abilities An X mark with the Watchman symbol appears on the eyes of whoever looks at The Watchman directly and everything goes dark. The Watchman is the only known character that doesn’t reside in either the Sphere or the Ground but the border instead. The Cleaners is an organization formed in the Ground. Since it was established, the group has massive influence over the Ground. Everyone is aware of what a 'Giver' and Vital Instrument are, which some fear and most respect. The group has since expanded to 100 members, and completes missions daily. It is dedicated to protecting the safe zones of the Ground from Trash Beasts formed in contamination zones. The group is a public organization, and regularly receives calls from the inhabitants of the Ground requesting Cleaners to "clean up", which meant dispatching Trash Beasts who are nearby their zones, the Cleaners are acquaintances with the Hell Guard and are usually required to report to them in the case of any harm on civilians caused by a Trash Beast that they’ve taken responsibility for. To become a Cleaner as a Giver, the method that has been seen throughout the story so far is being scouted; the Giver has to be noteworthy enough to catch a current Captain's eye, and when in agreement, they must make their way to the Cleaner's HQ where the Giver then has to be screened by the Cleaners' receptionist, Semiu Grier, and then approved by the boss himself, Arkha Corvus. On the occasion the boss is not present, it's unknown what happens to the potential recruit, but in Rudo's case, he is taken on an "observational field trip" for he's now a "trainee". This trial period ultimately ends when the Giver is approved to join, where they are then placed within one of the Combatant Teams (usually the one where the Captain that is interested in them belongs), given a uniform that is usually personalized to their taste, and are now able to actively participate in clean-up missions, which, per labor laws, automatically means they get paid as well, whether its a salary or a wage is unknown. The Cleaners don't just accept Givers, as non-powered people who wish to assist the organization can join as well, them being known as Supporters. Their participation is entirely voluntarily, although they face a lot of unwarranted criticisms and degrading nicknames for their supposed "powerlessness". Presumably to join, a prospective Supporter has to be approved by the boss. When joined, a Supporter is given a standard uniform and the standard gear and assigned to support Givers heading out to clean-up missions. It's presumed they get paid as well. Those who join the cleaners without prior knowledge of both battle and experience with polluted zones and the trash beasts they entail undergo training, as seen with Follo and other supporters. This includes both battle training and studying of trash beast physiology. The supporter group is comprised of ordinary humans who volunteer their skills, whether it be strength or handling of weapons, to support the givers in battle. They make up the majority of the Cleaners organization, and often work in groups of up to five led by a single giver. Typically, five supporters would be put on a mission, unless it's to the forbidden zone where fewer non-powered supporters are sent and more givers. For Cleaners to be able manage and organize the Givers, they need to join a team, teams include both combatants and givers who aren’t capable of combat. The combatants are split into the following six teams. Akuta Akuta (アクタ, Akuta) whose members are: Enjin (Leader) Rudo Surebrec (Combatant) Riyo Reaper (Combatant) Zanka Nijiku (Combatant) Eishia Stilza Shikage Eager Eager (イーガー, Īgā) whose known members are: Tamsy Caines (Combatant) Delmon Gates (Combatant) Child Child (チャイルド, Chairudo) are a group whose members are made up of children and supervised by Bro. Its known members are: Bro Santa (Supervisor) Dear Santa (Combatant) Guita Hebby Fantasia (Combatant) Others Beauty Beauty (ビューティー, Byūtī) whose members are currently unknown. Danger Danger (デンジャー, Denjā) whose members are the strongest of the Cleaners. Unlike the other teams, Danger lacks cooperativity because all members are solitary by nature and have little social skills. Givers with Vital Instruments makes teamwork a hindrance or members that are hard to handle are usually put into Team Danger. Otto Adderoy (Combatant) Epalte Adderoy (Combatant) 3 unnamed members Front Front (フロント, Furonto) whose members answer directly to the boss of the Cleaners, Arkha. Their known members are. Semiu Grier Amo Empool The Raiders (荒らし屋, Arashiya) are a major criminal organization in Gachiakuta. They're a group of Givers on the Ground, and their goal is to collect the Watchman Series and destroy the Sphere. They are one of the major antagonist groups of the series overall. Originally, the group were merely thieves, but as the years went by slowly got involved in more sinister plots. All members of the group are Givers, and all carry purple torch lamps which signifies their membership. One of the groups main aim is to find more Spherites like Rudo in order to learn more about the Sphere. Raiders are split into teams of two or three, and are carefully selected for their Vital instruments to be most compatible together. Front Line A team consisting of the Raider’s most necessary and powerful members; it is a higher rank within the organization and this rank makes it so they receive orders from Zodyl directly and go on missions on their own, such as when Bundus was instructed to find the Choker Maker. Hell Guard (ヘルガード, Herugādo) is a group in Gachiakuta. They are a group of mostly non-Givers who focus on suppressing humans who commit crimes and are the primary law enforcement on the Ground. Prior or being able to join the Hell Guard, it’s members have to go through a training camp located in the Kamuatari District. The Cleaners answer to the Hell Guard and have to provide reports on their jobs when said job injures civilians. They are all capable fighters without powers who are able to overpower Givers and have access hard-to-get items, such as Firearms. Despite this, they have continued to fail to stop the Raiders. The Hell Guard have a fearsome reputation and will utilize torture for information. They have a prison where prisoners are said to experience 'agonies'. Beyond maintaining order, the Hell Guard are also investigating the relationship between the Ground and the Sphere, as Kyouka was sent to arrest Rudo in order to find out more about the sphere, their race, and to fill the 'gaps in history'. The Hell Guard have different groups known as "Horn Squads" that carries out the duties of the organization. Zanka Nijiku's mother is the HQ commander of all squads The Watchman Series (番人シリーズ Bannin Shirīzu) are a series of Vital Instruments. They are some of the oldest in the world and hold an unlimited supply of Thought. The Watchman Series contain an unlimited amount of Thought which makes them incredibly powerful. They have existed as far back as six generations ago. Zodyl speculates that the Watchman Series originally belonged to and were worn by a single human, which is later confirmed by Kuro. Only people who have lost a part of themselves that make up a person can utilize the Watchman Series, mainly people who have suffered through great tragedies, if a sane person attempts to use the Watchman Series they will be driven to insanity due to the thought’s contained in the Watchman Series generating anima powerful enough to permeate their being, Follo who experienced the sensation described it as the feeling of his mind being “eaten away at” when he temporarily used 3R. The Watchman Series items seem to have an anesthetic effect as both Rudo and Gountess, who were suffering intense pain due to their physical condition, stopped feeling pain and symptoms of their conditions when they were in possession of their items. The Watchman Series are all grey items of clothing, typically incredibly thick fabric. They have patches of black found on them, and are often held together by belts, which all meet at a metal ring covering the Watchman Series logo, which is a set of two rings, the inner one branded by 3 circles, and the outer one by three triangles. Unlike other Vital Instruments, the Watchman Series doesn't change appearance when activated, and instead sees itself surrounded by a black aura. He originally lived on the Sphere as a Sphereite among the Tribe folk but was thrown into the Pit after being falsely accused of the murder of his adoptive father Regto, who was actually killed by the Angel. He's later recruited by Enjin to join the Cleaners as a member of Team Akuta until he collects every single piece of the Watchman Series, which will allow him to return to the Sphere to enact his revenge. Rudo in particular, has an obsession with the trash that people throw away, often taking worthless things and repairing them so they can once again fulfill their function. According to Semiu, Rudo has something comparable to a curse inside of himself. This "curse", fueled by hatred, is constantly growing within him due to all the recent events. Rudo is an incredibly determined individual, and once he puts his mind to something, he won't stop until until he achieves it. Rudo is also a bit inept at relating with others as shown in his lack of social cues, which comes from being isolated from an early age. Rudo doesn't understand things like reading people's feelings, leading to misunderstandings with his peers. While not being too proficient of a fighter on his own, Rudo is very creative when it comes to utilizing the Vital Instruments he creates with 3R. Vital instrument: 3R: A pair of gloves that are a part of the Watchman Series. He's a member of the Cleaners as the leader of Team Akuta. Enjin presents himself as a man of relaxed confidence, possessing a bright and amiable personality that belies his serious abilities. Despite his remarkable talents, he remains grounded and humble, often introducing himself with the self-effacing title of an "average Cleaner". This laid-back demeanor is a core part of his character, distinguishing him from others who might be more ostentatious His identity is deeply intertwined with his name, a title bestowed upon him by someone he owes a great deal to. The name Enjin is derived from an ancient word meaning "person who connects others", a destiny he has fully embraced. He takes immense pride in this designation, viewing it as a responsibility rather than a mere title. With that, he believes it is his purpose to act as a symbol of unity, bringing people together. He extends this symbolic role to his umbrella, which he sees as a beacon for the lost, a prominent object that stands out from the crowd and serves as a visible sign of guidance and hope. Enjin is a highly skilled and experienced Cleaner. He is seen destroying multiple Trash Beasts with incredible ease thanks to his Vital Instrument Enjin's sharp intuition and instincts allow him to make the best decision and direction he will follow, his intuition is good enough for all his moons to trust it, Vital instrument: Umbreaker: Enjin’s weapon is an umbrella that can be used as a shield, to float in the air, and he can also spin it at high speeds to act as a drill Likes: Tobacco, people who fiercely battle with all they’ve got, hot women Dislikes: Rain, childish and annoying women (he can't stand them), needy women and children. He’s a member of the Cleaners in Team Akuta. Zanka was born into the prestigious Nijiku Family and was expected to become a Hell Guard like his older sister and brother. To fulfill this expectation, he enrolled in the Central Hell Guard Training Academy in the Kamuatari District as a trainee, where he quickly rose to the top of his class. However, his dominance was short-lived when another trainee, Hyo, joined and surpassed his abilities. Zanka realized that he couldn’t hope to compare to a genius like her. Disheartened, Zanka ran away and met Enjin, who inspired him to become a Cleaner and become strong enough to surpass geniuses. Zanka maintains a calm and composed exterior, a stark contrast to the chaotic, emotional turmoil he often experiences within. While he strives to present a placid demeanor, his volatile inner state of anger, disgust, or excitement can erupt in sudden, exaggerated outbursts. Despite his efforts to suppress emotions, he frequently gets caught up in the antics of his more whimsical teammates, momentarily dropping his serious, no-nonsense facade As a former member of the noble Nijiku Family, Zanka carries a strong sense of pride without displaying overt arrogance. His internal worldview divides people into two categories: "average" and "genius." Zanka also proved to have a sharp, tactical, and keen mind, deducing the workings of Vital Instruments quickly and forming a plan to counterattack them or use them to his advantage. Vital instrument: A simple stick, upon activation it becomes significantly sharper allowing Zanka to cut things. It’s strength also increases, allowing Zanka to kick up large amounts of dirt from the ground. Zanka's agile and fluid fighting style allows him to use his entire body in full force to swing his Vital Instrument to deliver a deadly blow to enemies. She is a former hitman and currently a member of the Cleaners in Team Akuta. Riyo lives with a carefree mindset, even when facing a seemingly unbeatable opponent remaining free-spirited and calm. Riyo can be considered somewhat childish and unprofessional. Riyo gets excited at the prospect of a challenge, stating a 'strong opponent gets her fired up'. Riyo is known to have bad manners, whether it's sneaking away to meet Rudo or even her personal fighting style with the ripper. Riyo shows a particular interest in hair, playing around with Rudo's and asking if it's dyed or giving Trash Beasts a haircut, acting as a hairdresser Despite her warm and affable personality, Riyo has demonstrated darker aspects of herself. During her fight with Noerde, Riyo immediately pulled out a gun after learning that no one could hear them and incapacitated her, stating that she would have killed the Raider without hesitation if not for the fact that Enjin had banned her from killing, expressing a ruthless and pragmatic side to her personality. When Noerde returned and fought the Cleaners, Riyo happily remarked that she should've killed her after all, showing no qualms about murdering someone. These traits of Riyo come from the fact that before she became a Cleaner, she had been working as a hitman. She also becomes highly defensive when anyone brings up her past, particularly about her family. Due to her past as an assassin, Riyo is very proficient in the use of firearms, being able to shoot accurately and avoid hitting vital points to avoid killing her enemies. Vital instrument: The Ripper: A pair of silver scissors. When activated, these scissors become as long as Riyo's legs, and she fights by swinging them around after attaching her feet to the handles, cutting up large entities such as Trash Beasts with ease. He is a member of the Cleaners as a part of Team Eager. Tamsy is the hidden main antagonist of the Ground Wanderer Arc. He pretends to be an ally during the following arcs of the series that he appears in, but is a major overarching antagonist of the series as a whole. He is a traveler who can move between the Sphere and the Ground known as the Angel. A month ago prior to the story, Tamsy visited Amo's tower and used it as a launching point to fly to the Sphere along with an unknown companion to kill Regto and steal the Watchman Series Book for the ultimate goal of having Rudo break out of his "shell". Tamsy appears to be a highly reliable and kind member of the Cleaners. His partner, Delmon, boasts that Tamsy is always helping him out. Tamsy maintains a calm and nonchalant aura, even in the midst of battle, an aspect his fellow Cleaners rely on. Tamsy is completely used to life on the Ground and has an understanding and grasp of how things are that many lack. He appeared dismissive of Rudo's shock at the death of Gob, a common occurrence on the Ground due to pollution, stating that he mustn't get upset and that it wasn't his fault as a Sphereite. Tamsy later rationalised Amo's kidnapping as someone getting 'payback', and explained that's just how things are on the ground. Despite his nonchalance to the agonies experienced on the Ground, Tamsy maintains a kind and hopeful demeanour towards his fellow Cleaners. Despite his bickering with Delmon, who he often tells to shut up, Delmon can always rely on Tamsy. Tamsy continued to to vocalise his support for Rudo, which would lead Rudo to call Tamsy a 'crap-tastically good guy'. In reality, Tamsy is a cruel and sadistic man who has the goal is to 'break' Rudo, and this caused him to kill Regto in cold blood with Rudo watching and kidnap Amo and locked her in a cellar to follow his goals, and all the while followed Rudo to the Cleaners. Tamsy believes and refers to his actions as just, and claims to have been misunderstood all his life, however he is not angry about this, as he continues to move towards his current goal. Vital instrument: Tokushin: A distaff that allows Tamsy to create a net of thick threads to trap a large number of people. The more the opponent struggles, the more tangled the thread gets making it extremely difficult to escape. He’s a member of the Cleaners in team Eager. Delmon is a loud and passionate man, always shouting at the top of his lungs. He has great love and is very protective of his comrades, and especially his lover, considering anyone who hurts them to be unforgivable. Despite his loud nature, Delmon is very well spoken. In his past, Delmon worked as a farmer. He had a wife whose dream was to see a flower bloom, even in the dead Ground. Delmon worked tirelessly, eventually cultivating his Vital Instrument, Great Dumbbell, out of his desire to make said plants 'grow big'. He eventually did produce a flower and showed it to his wife, who was joyous to see one. Delmon made it his goal to fill the house with flowers. One day, Delmon farm was attacked by Raiders, leaving a deep mental scar Vital instrument: Thirst Quencher: A water hose, it allows Delmon to control the water contents of the target, it causes opponents hit by it to absorb water like a sponge and swell up, if the target absorbs too much water they’ll pop like a balloon killing them, the hose has different Nozzle’s each with different effects. He’s a Cleaner as the leader of Team Child. Bro is quite apologetic for the actions of his much younger team members who understand social cues less than an adult would. He appears to advocate for peace above all else. At some point in the past Bro joined the Cleaners and became the leader and supervisor of Team Child Vital instrument: Cloth: A piece of cloth, it’s main ability is it’s stretchiness. Bro uses this to attach cloth to people, either to restrain them or to boost them. He can also use it to maneuver himself around. Despite never being shown to speak, Dear has shown an ability to communicate exclusively with facial expressions and noises. Dear appears to be a generally irritable and intimidating individual, the messages read by Bro Santa seeming to display annoyance more often than not. He has shown irritation at Bro implying he's shown some interest in Rudo, almost to the point of anger. Dear also seems to despise being called nicknames (though this may be an annoyance with being called little) as when Bundus suggests calling him "Little Dear", he is visibly angered. Despite his outwardly dismissive demeanor, Dear has shown no hesitation in displaying worry or concern when faced with a unique or dangerous adversary. At some point in the past Dear was adopted by Bro, joined the Cleaners and became a member of Team Child Vital instrument: Centralian: A pacifier Vital Instrument that boosts Dear strength She’s a member of the Cleaners in team Child. Guita is a loud, touchy, and childish teenager. In her first interaction with Rudo, she asked Rudo what heaven was like—indicating that she does not understand normal social cues. Guita's speech is slurred, using terms such as 'dat' in place of 'that' in English versions. She is easily excited by animals and monsters. This is shown when she cheerfully greets a cockroach, and later is thrilled to find out she is inside a trash beast. Vital instrument: Guita: A Onesie which allows Guita to significantly increase her size and turn into a Kaiju. He is member of the Cleaners as a Supporter. Gris is an honourable man. Despite being a supporter (which some like Follo desire to 'get out of') he takes pride in his work and gets it done efficiently. He isn't afraid to recognize others and respect them, such as Riyo, Follo or Rudo. While imposing at first, Gris is really a kind man who will help and listen to others. As a cleaners, Gris is expected to fight beasts on a day to day basis. Despite lacking a Vital Instrument, he can rely on his other skills Gris has incredible strength. His grip strength especially stands out, with a simple handshake causing Rudo pain. With just one hand, he is able to crush the armour of a Trash Beast, which is known to be tough. He is also able to throw said beasts incredible distances. He’s member of the Cleaners as a Supporter and became a Giver after cultivating his own Vital Instrument. His personality is defined by a strong sense of justice and a complex inner conflict. His primary motivation is to eliminate all Trash Beasts, a goal that led him to join the Cleaners. On the surface, Follo presents himself as a polite, kind, and friendly individual. His outward demeanor allows him to connect with others and put them at ease. Inwardly, however, Follo grapples with a profound inferiority complex. He harbors a deep-seated resentment toward those he perceives as looking down on people who have lived ordinary, "faceless mob" lives. To cope with these insecurities and the need to feel valuable, he dedicates himself wholeheartedly to his role as a Supporter, both physically and metaphorically. Follo's drive to constantly go above and beyond in his efforts to be useful to his allies is a core part of his personality. While this dedication is commendable, it can also lead to him overextending himself, sometimes resulting in negative consequences. Vital instrument: Alan: Alan is a hammer that previously belonged to Follo’s friend, Alan. He used it during his time as a supporter, planning on turning it into a Vital Instrument so he could become a Giver She is member of the Cleaners as a Supporter and is responsible of recording information related to Trash Beasts. Tomme is a compassionate woman, Tomme has utmost trust in her comrades, being able to stand in the midst of battle and document without fear. She has a great passion for documentation and history, so much so she risks her life time and time again to document as much as she can for the cleaners. This has led Tomme to be incredibly perceptive and notice what others might not in the midst of battle, noticing Tamsy not helping Follo and Rudo against the trash beast. Tomme role as a supporter is to record information on all trash beast she comes across on missions in order to assist future missions and further understanding on trash beasts. This includes aspects such as their appearance and abilities. She further takes notes on Amo's House, though was told this wasn't needed. First Aid: Though not a healer like Eishia, Tomme has basic first aid skills, which she provides to Enjin when he's attacked by Delmon, and later on Amo and Follo when they are badly injured. He is the boss of the Cleaners. Althrough, he is always to be a man of few words. Arkha is reliable and trustworthy in terms of personality, with characters like Enjin even acknowledging his leadership. He is charismatic and has the peoples best intentions at heart, welcoming Rudo immediately into the Cleaners because of his faith in his companions. Vital Instrument: Arkha is stated to be able to 'look' at people the way Semiu does, to denote their potential and feelings. This ability is also capable of 'seeing' events to come. She is a member of the Cleaners as leader of Team Front and works as a receptionist at Cleaners HQ. Semiu is very confident and professional, preferring to get on with things as quickly as possible. She is dedicated to her job, being at the Cleaners' desk and picking up calls as soon as dawn strikes. She is organised and straightforward, and finds Enjin antics unamusing, immediately going on to explain to Rudo what he did wrong. Vital instrument: Eyes: A pair of glasses, Upon activation it enhances Semiu’s Kinetic visual acuity and when she really tries she can see a person’s true essence to detect abnormalities. He’s an artisan who makes clothes and masks for the Cleaners. He runs and designs a clothing brand called Collosso. August is a very loud and passionate man, but is known to actively procrastinate finishing his work when given a deadline or rushed, and when left to complete in his own time will pump out high quality work in no time. August is an expert craftsman and personally creates all the Cleaners clothes and masks. She is a member of the Cleaners in team Akuta and works as a healer. Eishia is incredibly shy, not being one to take credit for things she's done. She is usually seen with her head down and hands together, preferring to just not speak at all. Eishia also shows great kindness, being willing to heal all with her gifts. While she has incredible healing skills, she does not recognise as such. When she healed Zanka, she was disappointed she couldn't heal him as well as she would have liked, and when she treated Riyo, she began fretting on how things could have been worse. Vital instrument: Type: Heal: A power cord that can use electricity to administer medical treatment. He is the leader of the Raiders organization. In the past Zodyl had unwillingly been a part of a group that worshiped the trash from the Sphere having been dragged into it along with his sister by their mother. Later, Zodyl discovered his coat and took over the Raiders, transforming what was once a small group of thieves into an infamous criminal organization with the goal of gathering every Watchman Series item and destroying the Sphere. Zodyl is a cold and calculating man, rarely expressing any emotion. He is shown to be a respected and capable leader of the vandals, and has a large desire to find out more about the Sphere. He is prone to insult and provoke those who are his enemies, yet is very cunning and meticulous, purposely making Rudo attempt to attack him, luring him into a trap taking him alongside his fellow janitors inside an underground labyrinth. Zodyl is someone who has a tendency to do research and often doing experiments that he likes to test, even though he is aware of the almost certain failure, he uses this as a way to learn and improve himself and put in practice his theory. Zodyl is a highly intelligent man, who knows how to take advantage of any situation he is in. He is also very calculating, perfectly orchestrating a plan which resulted in taking all the Cleaners inside of his trash beast, leaving them with no choice but to face in combat the rest of the Raiders. Vital instrument: Mishra: A coat that is a part of the Watchman Series[12] that allows Zodyl to mutate his body into whatever form he desires, more or less based on what he eats before the mutation. He’s a member of the Raiders' Front Line. Described as a masochist, Jabber is a psychotic young man with a violent obsession for fighting.
