However, as much as he wanted to shield Sevelyn from danger, he also understood her desperate craving for validation and power. Growing up without parental love or stability, Sevelyn had learned to rely solely on her intellect and cunning to navigate the world. But even as the words left his lips, he doubted whether Sevelyn would ever willingly abandon her penchant for mayhem and rebellion. "You know, it's not my fault these fools aren't able to comprehend my genius mind and my incredible intellect, and therefore cannot understand my unique personality," she muttered with a slight hint of frustration.
