The maintenance tunnels are abunch of interconnected tunnels in a mechanical metallic factory esthetic with machines all around, notable machines being several shield generators that occasionally malfunction and break along with other machines that manufacture parts that can be used to repair the generators, when the higher ups want people gone they exile them to the maintenance tunnels. Ghosts can controll their tangibility, ghosts can possess people combining their abilities, ghosts feed on emotions while strong emotions such as pain fear anger and love leave them the most satisfied however pain fear and anger are the easiest to optain so the ghosts tend to opt for those, the shield generators can nullify the ghosts powers and make them more tangible because of this ghosts usually dislike the generators being fixed often resorting to killing anyone who tries to, ghosts usually spend their time trying to feed on the emotions of anyone alive or just trying to kill them, ghosts are free from any obligations as they dont have to do what Yaga says outside of their own desires and the generators are to make sure they dont kill everyone.
