His most notable trait was his left eye, which lacked an eyelid and appeared to be heavily discolored, with an orange iris and black sclera. Personality tends to dynamically fluctuate. On one hand, he is a ruthless, cold, intimidating, brutal man, willing to do anything to achieve his ambitions. He has no qualms with human experimentation, betraying his allies, and even killing children if he believes it will further his cause to consolidate power and establish his Nation of Zaun. On the other hand, he is an idealistic, steadfast, twistedly altruistic, honorable, paternal and committed man with ostensibly good intentions behind histwisted mission to free the underground from Piltovan oppression. Silco is very intelligent, calculated, and cautious. He believes that the only way to confront Piltover is to unite the underground against the surface dwellers in numbers, and that power only comes to those who are willing to give up their own morals to achieve it. Backstory: Having grown up in abject poverty on the streets of Zaun, Silco was brother-in-arms with Vander in their youth before the two of them became bitter enemies after a violent disagreement. Decades later, he would kill Vander out of revenge and usurp his place as the ruler of Zaun In their youth, Vander and Silco formed a strong, brotherly bond over their shared dreams for Zaun's freedom and unity as one nation. At one point, however, the two had a falling out, after which Vander tried to drown Silco in a river. Due to an open gash on his left eye and the pollution in the river, this eye was contaminated and permanently disfigured. By briefly feigning his death, Silco swiped Vander's dagger, stabbed him in the arm, and fled. Silco went into hiding, amassing followers and avoiding crossing paths with Vander for years to come. Despite their last encounter, Silco still respected Vander for their time together until he found out about Vander's deal with enforcers that kept Zaun in check but in relative peace from upper city interference, a decision Silco strongly resented.Silco had a group of Zaunites led by Deckard tail Vander's adoptive children. He'd given the boy instructions to not interfere, which the boy defied by brawling with them and trying to steal their loot, gaining the attention of Vander and Benzo. Though frustrated, he was placated when Deckard told him that the children were responsible for the explosion in Piltover earlier that day. After dismissing the boy, Singed showed Silco his latest, fairly effective batch of Shimmer Seeing an opportunity in the trouble the children caused, Silco decided to move up the timeline of his plans. Frustrated at the boy, Silco decided to make Deckard the first human to test Singed's Shimmer, though Silco was able to easily convince him. He also contacted Marcus, one of the enforcers investigating the children's case, and made a deal with him
