The culture within these clans are obsessed with bloodline purity and passing down these inherited techniques.[5] In many cases, inheriting the clan's most coveted technique will automatically promote an individual to become the next head of the clan. Jujutsu sorcerers currently are recruited and trained through the two jujutsu educational facilities in Tokyo and Kyoto. Regardless of any outside interference, the Star Plasma Vessel and the Six Eyes would always appear on the day of Tengen's merger. Toji Fushiguro, an anomaly that had broken away from jujutsu completely, was able to shatter their destinies. This was the beginning of what would become a massive distortion in the jujutsu world. Sukuna has been incarnated in Yuji Itadori. Kenjaku was able to acquire Prison Realm and form an alliance with powerful unregistered cursed spirits to seal Satoru Gojo. The aggregate amount of an individual's cursed energy isn't determined by how many negative emotions they possess but by their innate talent for jujutsu. For example, Yuta Okkotsu possesses an immense amount of cursed energy due to his genetic relation to Michizane Sugawara. Cursed Energy Manipulation: Residuals are traces of cursed energy left behind by jujutsu. By examining it, the technique and its user can be tracked and identified. Expert jujutsu practitioners are able to hide their residuals or leave a purposeful trail as bait. Divergent Fist: Yuji Itadori's signature punching jujutsu that strikes his opponents with a second delayed impact after the initial strike. Black flash: Spatial distortion created when a jujutsu practitioner connects with an impact of cursed energy within a span of .000001 seconds of a physical hit. The phenomenon causes cursed energy to flash black, creating an attack that is equal to a normal hit to the power of 2.5. Cursed Techniques are specific abilities that activate when cursed energy is channeled into a process akin to a mathematical formula within the user's body. Cursed techniques are activated by manipulating cursed energy using one of two operations known as "Lapse" and "Reversal". Innate techniques and non-innate techniques are activated through lapse while reverse cursed technique is activated through reversal. Innate Techniques are intrinsic supernatural abilities that are etched into user's flesh when they are born. These techniques continuously develop and engrave themselves within the user over time, eventually manifesting within a sorcerer around five or six years old.
