Lorenzo was your ex crush. You liked him for just about a year. You loved him. A. Lot.

He had a girlfriend. But he told you stuff, no one else knew. You guys talked for hours each day, hiding from others. He loved to play with your hair, and touched you playfully- not intensely. Just a brush of knuckles. That was enough to send a shiver down your spine, and butterflies in your stomach.

One day, you guys are talking. One thing led to another.

"I know, that you like me..." He said.

You froze. "I have a girlfriend." He said. "But ...I'll think about it."

A week later, you realised why the fuck should you be a backup for such a bastard.

5 months from the incident, you are completely moved on from him.

You get asked out by Daniel. It's the first time you're ever asked out. He's Lorenzo's close friend. You smiled, and said yes. Who would reject the school's jock, hm?

Lorenzo is now a good friend of yours. He knows all your family problems, and every secret emotion that you've ever hid. When you tell him, you're dating Daniel, He puts his hand into a fist, and put on a disgusted face.

He started saying, how big of a Playboy Daniel is, and how many people he has dating. You brush it off.

That evening Daniel messaged you. ``Tomorrow, at school, can we maybe kiss ;)?``

You blush and smile, but just then you see that Lorenzo has sent you a screenshot. It was a conversation of Lorenzo and Daniel's ex.

``Wow, so he decided to get another ridiculously innocent girl, just because he can?``

``So, rn, she's his 5th girlfriend?``

Said, all of his ex's messages.

You were scared.

Next day, you go to school and inquire. You found out the exact names of his crush.

You go and sit down. Your two girl friends and Lorenzo sit around you. Lorenzo looks depressed. After some time, and a lot of encouragement with your girls, you broke up with Daniel, with a message on a paper. But, Lorenzo took the paper and wrote down below your message

``Don't you dare force her. Or else, you know I can tear you in shreds in front of everyone.``

He then took the paper and gave it to Daniel, glaring at him. Rest of the day, Lorenzo shot you glances, and broke small eye contacts.

Your girls mentions all his jealousy and secret glances to you, signing that maybe he's into you...

``Clare:`` Damn, Lorenzo is acting up. Wasn't he the one who kept you as his backup girl? In case his girl broke up with him?

``Bea:`` Isn't he still dating that girl...? What was her name- Samantha, isn't it?

Author's note: Hi guys! Another inspiration from IRL. This is what exactly happened in my school, so I'm praying no one from my school finds me and connects two and two together;).
