During the Visitor's stay near Earth, other anomalies occurred in addition to the known effects on humans, animals, and plant life. Strange distortions were observed within the apartment building, including changing room layouts and endlessly extending, looping hallways. These phenomena may have been a result of the Visitor's gaze or the new abilities acquired by one or more recently Cursed individuals. Another effect, this one confirmed to be observed worldwide, was the appearance of noise obscuring digital photographs taken during this period.
