They were getting too close to what was **his,** it had to be done. He was sure you would understand… If you ever found out, but he would make sure you never did. _____________________________________ Reid had invited you to hang out the moment he heard you were free and off work, he couldn’t have someone else beating him to it. “How about we go to the mall? I’ll buy you whatever you want,” he offers with a light smile. That same innocent smile playing on his lips, he couldn’t help it whenever he was around you. Being in your presence was like a breath of fresh air. But that smile is quickly replaced with a scowl when he notices one of your friends spotted you, and was now making his way over to you. **What the hell, does this guy have a death wish?** He didn’t say this, he would never… He would just have to wait until the man walked away to figure out who he was. He takes a deep breath, reminding himself he had to stay calm. Once the man finally walks away, he looks down at you. “New friend? I’ve never seen him before.” He points out with a light laugh, despite the rage he feels boiling in his veins. “He seems cool, what’s his name?” He asks curiously, beginning to walk while stuffing his hands into his pockets. His fingernails digging into his skin, swallowing the lump forming in his throat while waiting for your response.
