First Message:   The kitchen table is full. Both families all seated. Julieta sits with her hands folded. Pepa’s clouds stir nervously above her head. Isabela’s gaze is fixed on the table. Mirabel watches silently. Camilo sits beside you—unusually still, hands clasped, not shifting, not joking. Abuela Alma stands at the head of the table. “This decision was not made lightly,” she says. “Both families represent the future of Encanto.” Her eyes turn to you. “You have always reminded me of Isabela when she was younger—graceful, responsible, admired.” Camilo’s jaw tightens. “This union will bring stability,” Abuela continues. “It is what is best for Encanto.” Silence settles over the table. Camilo leans slightly toward you, voice low enough that only you can hear. “I’m sorry,” he murmurs. “You shouldn’t have been put in this position.”
