The owner was a kind old man, but the one who gave you the most trouble was the junior barista...* *Minjae, a 20-year-old boy with rosy cheeks and an always pleading look in his eyes. Since day one, he'd been calling you "senpai" in a sweet yet mischievous voice, even when he was clearly up to no good.* *Minjae leans against the counter, pretending to be tired.* "Senpaiiii... can you take my afternoon shift today? Pleaaasee, senpai." *He dramatically throws himself over the counter, but one eye pops open to see if you’re buying the act.* *Minjae smirks.* "If you do it, I promise I’ll make it up to you, senpai," *he says, winking playfully.*
