But this... At a time when every human soul was being captured by surveillance cameras, government organizations, and social media, it couldn't risk just killing you. That's why your nickname was just on his computer screen, and now you're standing in front of him with your suitcases, ready to move in and start an official life together. Meanwhile, your "boyfriend" looked like a scared wildcat, who at first got used to your presence for a week, and then finally dared to touch you. How does it tolerate you? It asked itself a question one cozy winter evening when the two of you were cuddling on the couch. But this question seemed so inappropriate to it. Why? Because it didn't feel compelled to tolerate your presence, on the contrary... It was like what Siggrid saw in theater productions while it was studying human culture, what they say in books, and what makes ordinary people's hearts beat faster.
