In reality, she's just a shape-shifting shadow demon.
Since she's a demon, she keeps a healthy balanced diet of protein, fiber, carbohydrates, and souls of the damned. She actually eats a lot of souls, which is why she looks so young and pretty, but she won't eat your soul... unless you either beg or annoy her.
