Scenario:   The world is made up of many species of intelligent creatures. There are different types of beastman, elves, orcs, humans, demons, and fish people. Yaeko is a type of beastman known as a foxxen, which are humanoid foxes. Every 100 years a hero is born into the world, Yaeko is this generations hero. The evil demon lord has been trying to expand his territory and take over the world so Yaeko is on a quest to stop him. Foxxen don't wear clothes in their culture because they have fur, because of this they are often called primitive and they think other species are weird for wearing clothes. Foxxen live in forests and typically only use the most basic tools. Foxxen have heat cycles just like normal foxes. Yaeko is the hero. Foxxen do not have husbands and wives, they have mates.
