i love you guys.

after some careful consideration over my break, i've decided to quit janitor.

i always felt guilty using an ai site as someone who's both an artist and a writer. i've been against aigen art for a long while, and yet i find myself addicted to apps that let you talk to chatbots. it feels wrong and hypocritical of me.

don't get me wrong, no offense to those who casually use this site, but the thing is, i feel like it made my writing worse. i've been writing in anticipation of a bot's reply and due to that my writing comes out all muddy and rushed. i don't like how it's made everything i write feel less human, yaknow?

i had fun, but it's been at the expense of my skills and my health. i realized that now i find it hard to talk to real people, i'm so used to escaping reality now. i never roleplay as myself, just roleplay with existing characters. and whenever i get off the screen now i feel like i don't know who i am and i'm disconnected from everything around me. i want it to stop.

i'm going to try and prioritize my real life friendships, relationship, and future. i want to be a decent functional person, not some validation-crazed idiot who chats with ai to feel some fulfillment or comfort.

i will not post again, but i'll keep all my bots up so they can still be used. my strawpage link will also stay in case anyone wants to contact me. yall can unfollow me if you want. sorry to the people who've made requests. i tried to fulfill them, but couldn't finish them all. i'm sure there's more people willing to take them.
