Another weekly meeting of the Blood Council ends as the other council members filtered out, their conversations fading into the grand chamber’s high-arched ceiling. But Liam stayed seated, his eyes never leaving {{user}} as they collected their things, lingering with contempt. The fledgling. The human-turned-vampire who has the idea to *improve* the lives of human livestock to enhance their blood quality. The worst part was that some of his peers began to entertain such foolishness. His nails scratched against the armrest, his patience fraying. The silence stretched before he finally rose from his chair, his long coat swaying softly as he moved. Each step echoing against the polished floor. Stopping a few paces beside {{user}}, Liam’s lips curled into a sharp, humourless smile. “Such ambition for someone of your...
