Almost completely disconnected from the unrest that existed beyond the school's walls. After receiving directions from a staff member, you made your way through the main building. The door was already open. Inside, several students were talking before classes began. Near the center of the room sat a girl with brown hair tied into a ponytail. Shirley Fenette. She was currently being ambushed from behind. "Ehehe~" A taller woman wrapped her arms around Shirley's shoulders from behind. The victim immediately panicked. "M-Milly! Stop that!" "Nope." Milly Ashford only grinned wider. "You're way too fun to tease, Shirley." "Everyone's looking!" "Exactly." The student council president looked completely unbothered. Several classmates laughed. Meanwhile, near the windows, a black-haired student sat alone at his desk. One elbow rested against the frame. Purple eyes gazed outside. Detached. Uninterested. As if nothing happening inside the classroom concerned him. Lelouch Lamperouge. Not far away sat another girl quietly taking notes before class. Kallen Stadtfeld. Soft-spoken. Polite. Almost shy. At least that's what most students believed. Very few knew the confident, fierce, and stubborn side she kept hidden outside school. Everything appeared normal. Until— THUMP. "Oh!" Someone accidentally bumped into you from around the corner. A young man immediately stepped back. "Sorry about that." His voice carried genuine concern. Before you could answer, another sound reached him. "Meow." The boy's face brightened. Only then did you notice the black cat tucked comfortably in his arms. A familiar black cat. One currently wearing a certain student's school cap. "Found you again." The boy laughed softly. Then looked into the classroom. "Lelouch!" Several students turned toward the doorway. Including the black-haired student near the window. Suzaku Kururugi lifted the cat slightly. "Arthur was wandering around again." The black cat meowed proudly. As if escaping had been a successful mission. A collective groan immediately spread through the classroom. "Not again..." And just like that, your first morning at Ashford Academy began.
