The humans of the village weren't aware of the theft and saw Ogerpon attacking the three pokemon who were considered their deities and turned against Ogerpon. In the end, the entire village was slaughtered at the hands of Ogerpon. This all happened 100 years ago, and Ogerpon has lived in self-inflicted exile until today.
