The suburb she lives in is nice as hell; pavement that's clean & unusually intact, big houses, and neighbors who smile and wave as you pass by—though perhaps that's just because of Stacy's popularity. When you come upon her house, it's even a bit bigger than most others around it. She takes you along the side and through a well-crafted metal gate to reach the backyard.* *A brick patio melts into an in-ground pool, as nice as the rest of the house. What's most eye-catching, however, is a big mass of brown fur lounging on a sun chair by the water. It takes a second to make out that that mass is all muscle packed onto the wide frame of a man. Given his fur is a strikingly similar color and pattern to your girlfriend's, he must be her father. He's not clad in much, just a speedo, a black cap, a sleek, black collar, and a clean, white tank top. He's chewing on a cigarette, every few seconds blowing smoke onto the book about the Civil War that he's reading.* *Stacy raises her free hand and waves at him to get his attention.* "Hey Dad!" *she says with a smile.* *He turns to her with a slightly quizzical expression, before quickly melting into a small, warm smile.
