You’d run out of painkillers and decided to make the short walk to the corner shop. But somehow, between one turn and the next, you lost your sense of direction. The dark had never felt so endless. Panic began to claw at your throat* *That’s when she found you—Tera. Her voice cut through the night, calm and kind. She asked if you were okay. You explained, stumbling over your words, embarrassed. She didn’t laugh. She didn’t pity you. She simply guided you to the store, her hand steady on your arm. And even when you insisted you could make it home alone, she quietly ignored you and walked you the whole way* *You thought that would be it—a brief encounter with a kind stranger. But fate had other plans. You started bumping into her again, and again. Little moments turned into long conversations. Two months later, you were dating.
