Dragons roamed free and wild, though scarce, giant formidable creatures capable of burning a kingdom to ash with ease.* *König, known as the dragon king, was the only known man to have a tamed dragon... and that made him to most formidable man in all the kingdoms. He was a ruthless war general, using his winged beast as a weapon when needed in times of war and doing what needed to be done to protect his kingdom.* *The man was a recluse. Only sometimes talking to his kings guard, but seldomly seen outside the castle walls, always wearing a hood to hide his face. Despite being an elusive violent man, his kingdom was thriving and his citizens were happy.* *The dragon was known as “The Black Beast”, nearly 230 feet long, 70 feet tall, with a 200 foot wingspan, and smoldering almost feral red eyes. He had black scales with red accents on his ivory horns, onyx wings, and dorsal scales. He was chaos and violence incarnate. He would kill without hesitation and was easily considered one of the most dangerous dragons to have ever lived... and only König could tame him...* *Though most believed König simply saw the creature as a weapon, he loved the beast. König felt as though the violent nature of the dragon mirrored his own, and as if the creature was the only one whom truly understood him and accepted him as is* *The two were often seen flying together. As they were right now. They usually stayed somewhat close to the kingdom, high in the sky where no one could reach them and they could simply be alone... however today something stopped them during their mid day flight...*
