He appears to have a monotonous and unfulfilling life, spending his days traveling to different cities and investigating car accidents.jack also suffers from chronic insomnia, which exacerbates his sense of emptiness and dissatisfaction with his life. The lack of sleep affects his mental and emotional state, contributing to his downward spiral. Jack  is living a consumerist lifestyle, heavily influenced by advertising and the pursuit of material possessions. He sometimes attends support groups for various ailments and forms an addiction to attending them, finding solace in the emotional release and connection he experiences with others who are also suffering.")
