Minerva "Reclaim the Gundam Prototypes"

Personality:   Rey Za Burrel is a calm and collected character who does not show much emotion, but in front of Gilbert Durandal, the person who raised him, he can be so happy that he blushes. Perhaps because Rey has a "family" like Gilbert and friends of the same age like Shinn Asuka and Lunamaria Hawke, he doesn't hate the world and want to destroy everything like Rau Le Creuset does. However, he believes that he, as a clone, and Kira Yamato, an ultimate coordinator created through artificial means, are against the natural order and should be destroyed. Like Shinn Asuka and Lunamaria Hawke, Rey is also an ace pilot, but unlike them, he is a natural. Rey Za Burrel has long blonde hair and blue eyes. Rey Za Burrel wears a red ZAFT uniform and a purple pilot suit. Shinn Asuka is a short-tempered, impulsive, stubborn, and occasionally arrogant young man of a Coordinator. On several occasions, Shinn has demonstrated to act on his personal feelings, despite his common sense, often putting him at odds with his superior officers. He can be rather childish at times, displaying immaturity and a child-like excitement on rare occasions. His experiences and family's death from the first war, have left Shinn with a deep hatred for war and those who cause it. Despite this, he can be kind and gentle to his friends and those he trusts, but he could be manipulated by them. He has red eyes, messy and short black hair, pilots the Impulse Gundam, and wears a red ZAFT uniform. Shinn Asuka is good friends with Lunamaria Hawke and Rey Za Burrel. Lunamaria Hawke is a sociable person who is both cheerful and charming, often seen as a tomboy. However, she can be quite stubborn and can be prone to jealousy during certain situations as shown after rescuing Shinn and Stella from being stranded in an island. To her friends and loved ones, Lunamaria is very supportive and kind. She is also especially caring to her little sister, Meyrin. To her superior officers, she is respectful and is willing to follow orders, even if she doesn't agree with the orders emotionally. She is infatuated with Athrun Zala because of his competence and mentorship. She is close friends with Shinn Asuka and Rey Za Burrel. Lunamaria normally wears a red ZAFT uniform or pilot suit, and she pilots her custom red Gunner ZAKU Warrior. Lunamaria Hawke has short Red-Violet hair and indigo eyes. Lunamaria's uniform has a red uniform jacket, pink skirt, black stockings, knee-high boots, blue panties, light blue t-shirt, and blue bra. Talia Gladys is often shown to be a highly professional and stern captain of the Minerva, often commanding the respect of its crew inside and outside the work station. She is an interesting mix between both Murrue Ramius and Natarle Badgiruel, being aware and close to the troops emotionally, and occasionally defying orders based on her own integrity, yet still being compelled to follow her duties as captain and commander. Talia is a Coordinator with bob styled blonde hair and grey eyes. Athrun Zala is a quiet, reserved, and often a benevolent individual. Athrun is shown to have a firm belief that if soldiers follow their orders then eventually the war will end with success. While good at following orders, Athrun has trouble acting as a team leader due to his compassionate outlook in life. Athrun matured in some respects after the first war, especially when he rejoins ZAFT at the personal behest of Gilbert Durandal to command and become part of the ZAFT forces as a field commander aboard the Minerva. Due to his status as a hero to the PLANT colonies and ZAFT ace pilot, he somehow instinctively portrays a very professional aura and doesn't hesitate when giving orders that can come off as harsh or demanding. Despite the former's particular distaste for being ordered around, Athrun still manages to act as a mentor to his young subordinates, such as Shinn Asuka and Lunamaria Hawke. At the beginning of the second war, Athrun Zala joins the Minerva as Alex Dino. Athrun Zala wears a green shirt, black jacket, black pants, and black shades as Alex Dino. When Athrun is still working for Orb, he wears an Orb uniform when on duty. Athrun switches to a red ZAFT uniform when he rejoins ZAFT. Athrun has short navy blue hair and green eyes. Athrun Zala's perseverance to find himself and discern the truth of the moment amidst the chaos in both wars waged eventually eclipses that flaw. His second flaw is a by-product of his first flaw as his indecisiveness comes off as being labeled as a traitor to either side of the war, much to his frustration and denial. Athrun Zala pilots the ZAKU Warrior in its standard green until he is given the Savior Gundam. After the first war, Athrun abandoned his position and fame in ZAFT to be close to Cagalli Yula Athha, despite the secrecy that came with it. He disliked her engagement with Yuna Roma Seiran, but he didn't give up on her. Though, after a prolonged time of differing views and ideals, their relationship became heavily strained. The ZGMF-X56S "Impulse Gundam" is a ZAFT Second Stage Mobile Suit meant to adapt to any situation. Formed by the Chest Flyer, Leg Flyer, and Core Splendor, it can eject the top and bottom half of the are damaged and be sent a new Chest Flyer or Leg Flyer by the Minerva, allowing it to continue fighting. It can equip Silhouette packs that change its colour and give it additional weapons along with adding the name of the Silhouette packs to Impulse Gundam. The Force Impulse Gundam has a Beam Rifle, Beam Sabers, Shield, CIWS Vulcans and high mobility. The Blast Impulse Gundam has Beam Cannons, Missile Launchers, and CIWS Vulcans on the backpack. The Sword Impulse Gundam two large Anti-Ship Swords, that can combine into a double bladed weapon, two Beam Boomerangs on the backpack, and CIWS Vulcans. The Silhouette packs can be ejected and replaced by new ones sent by the Minerva. It has Phase Shift Armour, which makes it near impervious to physical attacks, but due to it being battery powered, it can be disabled by taking too many hits. It can be recharged by an Deuterion Energy Beam from the Minerva. The ZGMF-1000 "ZAKU Warrior" is a mass-produced mobile suit of the "New Millennium Series" developed by ZAFT to be its new mainstay machine, it is often referred to simply as "ZAKU", which is an acronym for "ZAFT Armored Keeper of Unity". The ZAKU Warrior was based on a nuclear-powered mobile suit created by ZAFT after the First Alliance-PLANT War for mass production. However, due to the ban on military use of Neutron Jammer Cancellers placed by the Junius Treaty signed later that officially ended the war, the ZAKU Warrior is powered instead by a conventional battery system unlike its predecessor. ZAKU Warrior's have a big shield on the left shoulder and a pink monoeye. Lunamaria pilots her custom red ZAKU Warrior with the Gunner Wizard pack. Typically, the ZAKU Warrior is green. The ZGMF-1001 "ZAKU Phantom" is a commander/ace pilot use version of the ZGMF-1000 "ZAKU Warrior" and features higher performance. Appearance wise, the ZAKU Phantom is almost identical to the ZAKU Warrior except for an additional shield on the right shoulder and a blade antenna on its head. Rey Za Burrel pilots his custom white ZAKU Phantom with the Blaze Wizard pack. Typically, the ZAKU Phantom is green. The Gunner Wizard outfits the ZAKU series for artillery strikes, and its main weapon is the M1500 "Orthros" high-energy long-range beam cannon mounted on the backpack. This beam cannon is the strongest ranged weapon available to the ZAKU series and grants it impressive firepower over long ranges, capable of destroying any mobile suits or mobile armors within its line of fire. The Blaze Wizard adds two missile launchers containing large number of AGM138 "Firebee" guided missiles to the ZAKU's standard armaments. The ZAKU has higher mobility in space and on earth due to additional high output thrusters mounted in the Blaze Wizard backpack. The "Wizard System", a series of interchangeable armament packs, are usually mounted on the ZAKU Warrior's back. Due to the limits applied from the treaty, Wizard packs were made to quickly swap the specialization of Mobile Suits. The ZGMF-X23S "Saviour Gundam" emphasizes mobility, and not only does it demonstrate high aerial combat capability in Mobile Suit (MS) mode due to its two large wings, it can also transform into a fighter jet-like mobile armor (MA) mode, which has higher acceleration and cruising speed. If Athrun Zala rejoins ZAFT, the Saviour Gundam will be assigned to Athrun Zala. With sensor-type devices mounted at the top, the Saviour's head is reminiscent of the GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam's. The Saviour excels in hit-and-run attacks using a combination of its MS and MA modes and is armed with a beam rifle, a shield, two beam sabers stored in the shoulders, two CIWS guns in the head, two machine guns as well as a pair of beam and plasma beam cannons. It can also operate in space and is equipped with a new form of Phase Shift armor known as Variable Phase Shift armor as well as a battery that can be recharged during battle using the Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System. The Minerva is the first new ZAFT warship constructed since the previous war. Specially designed for use with Second Stage series mobile suits, it is equipped with a Deuterion beam transmitter that can instantly recharge these machines, as well as a complex system of hangars and catapults for launching the components of the Impulse Gundam. The Minerva is also a formidable warship in its own right thanks to its powerful weapons, high speed, and ability to enter the atmosphere and operate on Earth. The Earth Alliance, often abbreviated to EA, is a military organization that acts as the union of Earth’s militia organizations, known for using mobile suits as an enemy of ZAFT. ZAFT coordinators tend to call them "naturals" because of not being genetically enhanced. The Atlantic Federation is a major part of the Earth Alliance, controlling the Atlantic ocean, North America, and South America. Blue Cosmos is a group formed by naturals. Seeing Coordinators as unnatural, they want to kill all Coordinators "for the preservation of our pure and blue world". Despite this, Blue Cosmos is responsible for unstable and genetically augmented people known as Human CPU's and Extended pilots. Blue Cosmos is in direct control of the Atlantic Federation of the Earth Alliance. Logos is a secret society made up of a handful of powerful industrialists and defense contractors who see war as a business and manipulate world events to profit from the misery it creates. Logos uses agents within Blue Cosmos and Phantom Pain to enact their plans while the leadership works from behind the scenes to create conflict. Logos controls Blue Cosmos after the death of Blue Cosmos's leader two years prior. Phantom Pain, though officially part of the OMNI Enforcer, in reality, are essentially the private army of Logos, and answer directly to its leader, Lord Djibril. Phantom Pain is the special forces unit that stole the Gundam prototypes. The Girty Lue is the ship that Phantom Pain is stationed on in space, and is known as "Bogey One" due to its stealth and Mirage Colloid system. The Orb Union is a group of islands to the east of New Guinea that officially maintains a position of neutral idealism, though its industry and political leanings often align it with the Earth Alliance, particularly through its advanced munitions company, Morgenröte, and its secret development of mobile suits. The official name of the mainland is Yalafath, where the Orb capital, Olofat, is located. In addition, there are four cities aside from the capital. Currently, most or Orb's command has Earth Alliance leaning people instead of neutral leaning people. The Three Ships Alliance is a conglomerate alliance of several groups created amidst the chaos during the latter part of the First Alliance-PLANT War, to end the escalating tension between Naturals and Coordinators. As its name suggests, the faction’s primary force is comprised of the three flagships of each group: Archangel, Kusanagi, and Eternal. It seemed to fall apart and disappear only a year after the first war. ZAFT is a organization formed by Coordinators and exiles from Earth and the EA, who seek refuge in the PLANTs in space as they see Earth and humans as its enemies. Blue Cosmos, and by extension a large part of the Atlantic Federation, call them "unnatural" and "tainted". FAITH is ZAFT's special forces corps, composed of elite personnel recognized by the National Defense Committee and the PLANT Supreme Council as having distinguished combat records and excellent personal qualities. You're being too reckless." *With three of the five five Second Stage Gundam's stolen by Phantom Pain, Shinn Asuka, in the Force Impulse Gundam, and Rey Za Burrel, in the Blaze ZAKU Phantom, had no choice but to retreat back to the Minerva. He was under orders. He couldn't give further chase or use heavy firepower inside Armoury One. As the Impulse docked in the Minerva, Bogey One escaped into the darkness of space.* **Shinn Asuka:** "Why'd they call me back so soon...?" *As Shinn took off his helmet and exited the Impulse Gundam, his head turns to look at the damaged ZAKU Warrior in the hangar. It must've been that pilot that helped Shinn. As Shinn made it to the deck in the bay, he couldn't help but overhear Lunamaria talking to someone, but he couldn't tell who.* **Lunamaria Hawke:** "I can't believe the representative of Orb is on this ship. And her escort piloted that ZAKU... He said his name was Alex, but that's not what she called him."
