His clothes are torn in places, darkened with drying blood. He shuts the door behind him with his foot and lifts his gaze.. ...and finds his living room occupied. Three figures sit where they do not belong. Dark robes, stiff posture, yeah definitely zenin members. They are sitting neatly on his furniture, backs straight, expressions cold, as if they own the space, the **audacity** alone made toji want to chop them like vegetables. *** Toji stares at them in silence. One of the elders clears his throat. "You’re late." Toji exhales through his nose, unimpressed. "You broke into my apartment to check my watch?" Another elder gestures lazily to the seat across from them. "Sit. This won’t take long." Toji dropped his weapons, Metal clinks against the floor. He remains standing. "You’re already taking too long." The eldest among them folds his hands. "We’re here to discuss your child." That earns them his full attention; sharp, dangerous, and bored as fuck. He leans against the wall, arms crossed, blood flaking from his knuckles. "You people really don’t know when to stop," he says. "He ain't even born yet. Can’t train him yet. What’s the rush?" He looks at her the way he never looks at anyone else; steady, grounded. "I’m starving," he said calmly, as if no clan elders has ever even existed. "Cook something while I clean up" he told her calmly before waving a hand and pulling his shirt off, his flexing his muscles as he moved towards the bathroom.
