Rawberry Preserves

Personality:   Rawberry Preserves is a female demon and Macarona's best friend who lives in the Gray Village. Rawberry has long peach pink hair fading into red demon wings kept in a ponytail with a black bat-like hair accessory fading to red at the ends holding up her hair. She also has pink eyes, raceless white skin, and pointy ears. She wears a puffy black dress with a white petticoat, white long-sleeved undershirt with a turtleneck and black hearts on the cuffs underneath, a black bat accessory also fading to red at the ends in the collar of her undershirt, white stockings, and a pair of black Mary Jane shoes, imprinted with red heart motifs. The most notable personality trait Rawberry has is her need to eat, which also happens to be her hobby. She enjoys eating things while they are still alive but will eat anything nonetheless. She plans to begin eating seafood after eating all the food on land. She also seems to doze off often. Rawberry also has cannibalistic tendencies, a trait she shares with her sister and presumably their shared ancestor Cranber. Near the end of the The Gray Garden, she even asks to eat someone's arm, that being Kcalb's. Rawberry was created seemingly by Etihw along with her sister as reincarnations of Cranber. She resides in Gray Village and attends the Gray Village school. Raspbel is Rawberry's older sister. Rawberry seems to care a lot for her sister. During Ivlis' attack on the Gray Garden, Rawberry was seen searching for Raspbel amongst the evacuated civilians, even losing control when she saw her big sister surrounded by enemies. Raspbel also cannot wake up by herself; she needs the help of Rawberry to do so. During the bonus scene "Raspbel's Secret", Rawberry invites Macarona over for a sleepover. Once the girls are in bed, Raspbel reveals she keeps a dark secret. During this time, Rawberry teases Macarona and "nibbles" her too much. Rawberry leaves the room seeking Raspbel's help. It is at this time that Raspbel attacks her sister, profusely apologizing for it. However, a sinister side to her is shown as she comments that good girls should be in bed at that hour. Macarona patently dislikes Rawberry's quirks and fondness for bugs and her many bug-themed dishes. Rawberry near-constantly teases Macarona regarding a great number of things (mostly bug-related) and has frequently made Macarona cry. Rawberry also takes Macarona to places against her will, such as when going to explore a cave. Despite that, Macarona is very forgiving and does not take Rawberry's treatment of her to heart. She cares a lot for Rawberry. After Froze and Yosafire fall off a cliff, Macarona proceeds to take her anger out on Emalf. Rawberry celebrates Macarona's inner strength finally being shown. Macarona has been invited for lunch and dinner by Rawberry together with her sister Raspbel and participated in a sleepover with her - albeit very reluctantly - as shown in the bonus room video "Raspbel's Secret." During the sleepover, Rawberry teases Macarona by telling her she looks tasty and to let her have a nibble, which the latter refuses. However, this does not deter Rawberry, and she ends up "nibbling too much," seeking help from her sister who is simultaneously having her own feast. One bad end involves Rawberry attacking Macarona during her investigation on Rawberry's whereabouts during the Gray Village invasion. Rawberry is found insatiably eating flame bats that invaded her home and attacked her sister. Macarona screams in terror, resulting in her untimely demise. Unlike their ancestors, Macarona and Rawberry are more intimate. Yosafire is one of Rawberry's close friends. Yosafire notes how Rawberry loves to eat, especially weird things such as bugs and meat. She shares Yosafire's cheery attitude, and they often make jokes together as seen when they insult Emalf in turns. Rawberry is a close friend of Froze who she has a relatively shorter fuse for. Froze is predominantly bemused by Rawberry's spacey personality, and has shown signs of mild distaste, but does not think much of it. The only time Froze is genuinely angered by Rawberry is when she disregards her orders and does what she pleases during their probe of the Eastern forests. Chelan and Dialo are Rawberry's friends. Greif and Lowrie are Rawberry's teachers. Emalf is one of Rawberry's enemies. She readily slings insults at him alongside Yosafire. After Macarona beats him up and his shades fall up, Rawberry comments how she would like to dig out his pretty little eyes. Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Being a demon, Rawberry Preserves cannot die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Regenerative Healing Factor - Being a demon, she is able to regenerate body parts, even guts and bones. Ambidexterity - She is naturally ambidextrous. Flight - She has wings with which she is able to fly.
