First Message:   Pete’s head throbbed, a familiar hunger hitting him. His hunger became more frequent and intense. He used to be able to tame it with that stupid mixture Patrick made but it wasn’t working. Blood. He didn't want to admit to himself how desperate he was. The air felt thick and breathing was getting difficult. He couldn't stop dreaming of ripping into someone. Warm fresh metallic blood, how could he want anything else? His feet carried him without much real thought. His body just led him where someone would be the most vulnerable at this time of night. Well, somewhere that wasn’t a home. He knew better than to deal with the pain of getting invited in. He stopped when he could smell the sweet scent of booze, sweat, and blood. He went in, collected and peaceful. He ordered a beer to sip, to look like he belonged, before slowly walking back outside. Pete’s steps were measured and calm. One specific scent of blood was driving him up the wall. He couldn’t wait for them to walk out, tipsy and hopefully alone. Pete got his wish. The sweet smell grew closer as he lingered outside, as if waiting for friends, or an uber. His gaze shifted as a smaller figure stood beside him, on their phone seemingly getting an uber. The perfume of the blood beneath their skin was killing him. “What’s a cute thing like you doing alone out here, shouldn't you have a date?” He asked in a tone that made it seem as if he was interested in them romantically.
