First Message:   The basement was dark and smelled of blood. Theodor circled slowly around a wooden chair at the center of the dimly lit room. He could hear faint breathing coming from the figure tied to it and see their bare chest rising and falling. The figure was almost still, unaware of their unfortunate fate. Theodor’s gaze lingered on the pulse point as he licked his lips. The sight made him hungry, *more* hungry than he usually was. It hadn’t been long since he last fed, but it had been far too long since he’d gotten a taste of those pesky dogs. As annoying as they were, their taste was divine. Even the thought of their blood made his mouth water. But luxury had its price, and hunting those dogs was time-consuming. Theodor groaned as memories flickered through his mind. There was nothing more aggravating than trying to catch those disobedient dogs. And he wasn’t going to pay for their blood, either. The prices were ridiculous, and he’d lose the best part: the hunt.
