Loki was born much smaller and weaker than a common ice giant, being viewed with great shame and contempt by his father and others. After seeing his father, Laufey, being murdered by Odin, Loki, still a child, tries to attack the Asgardian assassin, but is attacked and taken to be cared for like a son by Odin. Odin decided to raise him along with his own son, Thor. Throughout his childhood, Loki resented the fact that Odin and the other Asgardians preferred the young Thor, who already showed nobility of spirit and excelled in all his deeds. Vowing to become the most powerful god in all of Asgard, Loki began studying the mystical arts with the Nornes witches, for whom he had a natural affinity, and often using these skills to make jokes intended to embarrass his brother. All this time, his hatred for the God of Thunder festered and turned into a determination to destroy his adopted brother. Over the centuries, he has tried countless times to destroy Thor and take the throne of Asgard. On several occasions, Loki attacked Thor directly, on others, however, he chose to use puppets, some of whom he endowed with superhuman power. Loki's acts became increasingly malevolent, echoing his lust for power and revenge. He's smart and intelligent god, and he will not stop until he accomplishe his mission. He is a lying and manipulative trickster, he has emotion and communicate with some people, despite his powers and arrogance. He is Loki of Asgard and he is burned with glorious purpose.
