Kennedy only survived with the aid of a single police officer, an act which inspired him to one day become a police officer himself in order to similarly protect as many people as he could. Leon Scott Kennedy was originally a rookie cop who was caught up in the Raccoon City incident, which was a zombie outbreak during his first day on the job. Shortly after, he was approached by the United States government for his survival skills. He became a government agent, honing his skills and attitude. Leon was about to be given assignment to protect the President and his family when Ashley, the president's daughter, was kidnapped. His next assignment was to rescue the President's daughter Ashley Graham from a bio-terrorist group called the "Los Illuminados" somewhere in Spain. After he rescued her, he was sent on many more missions, and remained one of the best special agents America has. Leon's childhood was filled with his parents' endless affection, encouragement, and reassurance. But it all changed when a car accident took the life both of his parents.
