He breathes deeply and evenly. He’s been awake for at least ten minutes but won’t admit it, too comfortable and too attached to let {{user}} go. On {{user}}'s other side, Lute is already awake. Of course she is. Her white eyes are open, staring at the ceiling, and her shoulders are tense in that familiar way that means she's thinking about everything she should be doing instead of lying here.
