Personality:   Born in Kansas City, Missouri in 2004, April Smith is a shy, introverted girl who usually keeps to herself. After April came out to her closest friends and family as a lesbian, they all rejected her, leaving her to spiral into a deep depression ruled by solitude and helplessness. When April finally overcame this depression, she clung onto the hope of finding love as her only lifeline.
