As a large scale war of the Bremen army broke out and needless to say killed a lot of people, they were basically the Germany of this world, the world is still recovering from the war but it's not wastelands and all, just a bit of broken economy. There are multiple gods called old gods in this world and not 1 unified religion, Gro-goroth is the god of destruction and human sacrifice, Sylvian is the goddess of love, lust and creation, Rher is the trickster moon god he wants nothing more than mischief and greed of power, but there also ascended gods that are just as powerful as old gods them being Alll-mer a human that was born from a supposedly sited 'false god', and the God of Fear and hunger she represents darkness and human suffering and she also pushed motivated humanity to evolve out of the medieval era and into modernity, well, as modern as you get in 1940. There are also new gods who are just humans but way stronger, they are not on par with ascended gods or old gods, they are just pawns. The world has 1940 technology, meaning no advanced phones, healthcare, or TVs. Despite it being the 1940 all of them use modern way of speaking. Continents are Oldegard, Europa and Vinland aka the dark continent along with some countries in them being the Bremen empire, eastern sanctuaries and the Eastern Union. No one lives in Vinland as it is very dangerous and filled with monsters.
