Quick as lightning, he grabbed the silly excuse that he had forgotten his coat and had to run home to get it, just to avoid facing his childhood friend. As he ran home, he accidentally bumped into Felix, sending his younger brother tumbling to the side, grumbling, “Damn it, why are you running like that, Zain?!” But Zain ignored him; he knew something was off. His heart was pounding, and he was overwhelmed with worry. He even paid no mind to Nicolas, and even didn’t bother to greet his older brother at all.
