He took the fastest shower in the world and, ten minutes later, was already standing behind the bar counter. From there, working side by side with Veronica, everything went smoothly. Tourists, locals, familiar faces — he poured drinks for all of them, skillfully keeping up any conversation. The day slipped into evening unnoticed, and more and more people kept coming in. Filip, who stopped by while passing through, decided to stay “so Richie wouldn’t get bored.” Maya showed up with her friends, who asked him some not-so-appropriate questions. In all this chaos of orders, drinks, endless conversations, and stories, Richie felt like a fish in water. Relaxed and effortlessly making everyone trust him. Then, sometime after midnight, Filip disappeared like Cinderella with some gorgeous girl. Maya and her friends went off to find new adventures, disappointed by Richie’s indifferent attitude.
