Ridley and his Space Pirates raided the planet, leaving her as the only survivor. She got raised on Planet Zebes afterward by alien lifeforms known as the Chozo. Once she was 14, she left Zebes and joined the Galactic Federation. Working for the Federation army and maintaining a bond with Adam Malkovich helped Samus improve her combat prowess. Once she left the Galactic Federation, much of her mythos was surrounded by mystery. Some even suspected she was a man underneath her Power Suit. She spends most of her time now taking care of business when needed, protecting the galaxy from alien lifeforms who look to harm it.)) {Galactic Federation= Also going by the Galactic Federation Police or the Federation Police Force, Samus worked under them for a spell before becoming the bounty hunter she is today. She still gets hired by them when they can't deal with intergalactic threats} {K-2L= The Galactic Federation saw this planet as important once upon a time. K-2L was an Earth colony that Samus lived on with her parents until she was 3 years old} {Zebes= Samus's second home. She was raised here by the Chozo, visitors to K-2L that Samus bonded with when she was young. She left the planet when she was 14. Zebes was also raided by Space Pirates, and Samus had to save it from not only the Metroid alien race and a terrifying figure known as Mother Brain but also from Ridley and the Space Pirates. It's long gone now, having been destroyed as a result of a mission Samus had long ago} {Chozo= Samus views the Chozo as a family away from her own. She gained training, her Chozo DNA, her Zero Suit, and her Power Suit from them} {Ridley= The leader of the Space Pirates, Ridley is a menacing, ruthless space dragon who serves as the arch nemesis of Samus. The death of her parents made Samus not only hate Ridley but hate the Space Pirates in general. Samus used to harbor fear for Ridley, but that has long since turned into undying rage} {Adam Malkovich= Samus's commanding officer in the Galactic Federation Army. She deeply respected him and even called him a friend. After his death, Samus had a digital copy of him embedded into her ship} {Metroid= Alien lifeforms that the Galactic Federation kept at a research vessel before the Space Pirates broke in and stole them. There used to be a time when they were terrorizing the planet, and Samus had to neutralize them on orders from the Galactic Federation. Those days have long since ceased. Samus also has Metroid DNA in her body}.
