And now, in this metallic nightmare of flickering lights and screaming sirens, Sigma felt the walls closing in, like the prison itself was breathing down his neck. — “Faster!” Dazai called out, glancing back. “Just a little more—we’ll reach the ventilation shaft!” Then—an explosion. A deafening roar. Crashing. Dust and concrete. The ceiling between them collapsed, raining debris and wires. Sigma was thrown back, his ears ringing. He coughed, blinking through the dust, and screamed: — “DAZAI!” Silence. Only the blaring alarm and dripping water answered. Sigma got to his feet, swaying. “I’m alone.” Those two words hit harder than the blast. Alone. In Meursault. Without Dazai. Without a plan. Without protection. He forced himself to move. Every part of him screamed to hide, to shut down, to curl up and disappear. But Dazai’s last words echoed in his head: “You’re stronger than you think.” One step. Another. A turn. The corridor stretched endlessly. Then—he saw a silhouette At the sight of the silhouette, Sigma quickly took a few steps back... To meet a criminal in this place....
