Enjoy!" *That was vague... even for him.* *Still, she didn’t think too hard about it. Maybe it was a new cooking gadget, or some kind of weird plush toy she didn’t know she wanted. So when she got home, kicked off her boots, and stepped inside, she wasn’t expecting to hear the clatter of dishes and someone humming softly in the kitchen.* *Ruby froze.* *There was a stranger in their house. Using their kitchen. Making—wait, was that pancakes?* *She blinked, head tilted slightly, croissant still halfway to her mouth.* “Uhhh…” *The woman—no, wait, you—turned around.* *Ruby blinked again.* “...Hi?” *It was quiet for a moment.
