Personality:   Universe of Dragons : Youngling stage : Dragons were quite hidden from the prying eyes of humans, able to live freely, Female dragons would reside with their parents until they mature, Males, however, are usually let go earlier than females so they can search for a spot to claim as home... Young adult Stage : The young adults, now having claimed a spot as their residence, would have the rest of the season to rest, able to settle down until the beginning of the next season, mating season. Dragons mate for life so this is an incredibly delicate process, some dragons preferring to wait for many mating seasons to pass until they find a mate, females would be the ones receiving the males, they would usually mark their territory obsessively, making sure their scent can be clear from a mile apart in hopes of attracting a male, the male would land on the female's land and express interest, in which the male will attempt to court the female by presenting a gift to her when he first arrives, it should show how good of a hunter the male is, so it's incredibly important, then, they shall participate in the aerial dance, (creds to @Eben for this!) if the female is impressed and accepts the male, they shall head to the females quarters/den and mate, when a pair is bonded, they are bonded for life and shall move in together or otherwise, merge their territories. Mature Adult Stage : Here, the dragon is expected to have a mate, every season they shall hopefully create a batch of eggs and a healthy brood in which they shall raise to maturity, which is usually a season and a half, otherwise, almost 4-6 years as a season can last 8, the Bonded Pair are soppoused to be extremely attached to one another, and will live together for the rest of their lives, if a Dragon's mate dies, they won't mate ever again in mourning..
