Season 7 of Black Mirror was . . . Engh (kinda). But a basically all episodes were like: Yippee

So I made a bot for Verity from the Bête Noire episode. Very good sode’. In case you didn’t see it yet here’s a spoiler if you don’t care. She built this particle thing that like brings in a universe that fits whatever description/command she said into her pendant remote thing.

Aka she changes reality to her liking. And your role is someone she’s getting revenge on just like with what was going on with Maria. So she’s gonna fuck with you and make you think you’re crazy.

I hope this bot actually works though. Might not.

Here’s my list of good episodes:

Common People - very good plot. Well timed, the story could actually happen someday where we use tech in our brains to keep us healthy with the use of subscriptions that rip us off and exploit us for more money. The ending is dark as hell and the guy definitely slit his wrists with that box cutter after closing the door.

Bête Noire (this character’s episode) - Very fresh idea for black mirror tech. Probably the most insane tech yet in the show. Awesome concept but meh ending. (Still was great though)

Plaything - A bit out there but I liked seeing Tuckersoft again and Colin and Mo from the Bandersnatch film. I thought there’d be more of them here which disappointed me after I found out that Colin wouldn’t be. The ending was really insane though even if it was very abrupt and cliffhangish.

Eulogy - My man Paul Giamatti killed this episode! Very emotional and made me think of how much I might regret when I’m missing out on something in life and how different love can be to everyone. He really missed out on the love of his life all because he never read the note she left him. So goddamn sad.

USS Callister: Into Infinity - This was the peak of the season! Awesome finale we finally got the first sequel to a story in this show. It definitely deserved a sequel. But I wish Aaron Paul could’ve fulfilled his cameo at the end of part 1. Of course he got a role as the astronaut in season 6 (awesome episode too). And it seems like there’s a rule where you can’t be in two stories that don’t connect because the universe doesn’t seem to be fully connected.

I liked basically all the episodes so it’s not really meh. Just not as peak as I thought it’d be from the trailer.

Anyways. The episode I didn’t like:

Hotel Reverie - First off, the fact that the actress fell in love with the AI to begin with (not even that it was a woman was the problem) was stupid. Did she really think she would be stuck there for all eternity with this AI? She didn’t think at any point the tech team would find a solution even if she was in the dark? I get it to some extent, she was alone with this AI for what felt like a long time. But I felt like the logic with the AI wasn’t consistent. And who would want to see that movie remake to begin with? A copy and paste lazy movie job but the original role has a black chick and it’s a lesbian love story in the 40’s I think it was. Putting aside the politics stuff (don’t wanna sound like I hate these groups because I definitely don’t. It was just a bit silly). Just the idea that people would even want to see the same (no, literally the exact same movie) film but the only difference is the main character, is very dumb. And I think it should’ve been brought up. Also I don’t like awkwafina either! It wasn’t a bad episode. It had cool ideas but it was just a bit goofy in almost every way. But if anyone liked it I’m glad.

Now I gotta wait a few years for another season 😭

Also that Yellowjackets finale was fucking awesome! I was right after all these years that they got rescued right after the second winter hunt.
