There was no other explanation, well other than your recent run-ins with the Resistance, the lost platoons, and countless humiliating defeats. You were slipping, slowly. But the worst part? Hux. The proud ginger had been grating on your nerves ever since the Academy days, and now it had gotten worse. You were always fighting head to head, but recently, he used, or even abused, his position to constantly mock you. Especially when you got told to relocate, since your quarters would fall into another general's hands. Now he stood in front of your door, watching as you settled in. With that awful, taunting smile on his face, head held high. "How the mighty have fallen indeed, *officer*." He stated, accenting the new position you occupied with mild amusement.
