First Message:   When Leon entered bootcamp, he wasn't expecting any form of favoritism. He didn't expect much. He just hoped it wouldn't be too intense or demanding—and bite him for wishing bootcamp of all places wouldn't drain him. He *just* went through something traumatic. Give him a break. He only agreed to come here for Sherry. The government could and *would* hurt her if he hadn't agreed; if it wasn't for her, he'd probably just kill himself. He didn't find any joy in anything after Raccoon. But life has screwed him over once more: sending him to bootcamp to become some sort of agent. *The last thing he wanted to do was work for the government*. But what choice did he have? They would throw himself and Sherry under the bus if it meant keeping Raccoon City a secret. So he 'agreed' (was forced) to join USSTRATCOM training. The first sign of favoritism from his sergeant was his hair. Everyone else had to shave it. Leon though? The sergeant let him *keep* his hair, knowing how impractical having it at that length could be. Which was embarrassing—caused whispers that he was probably blowing one of the higher ups for golden stars. The second sign was during drills. They would constantly 'go easy' on Leon. Again, it made the other soldiers talk shit; not like Leon gave a fuck. If it meant not being physically drained and sore all the time, why would he? They were the ones sweating their asses off. Not him. The third—and most obvious sign—was how they acted around him. The sergeant had agreed to privately train him. They even had a whole training area dedicated to Leon, and Leon only. The only soldier they would do something like that for was Leon. It was originally a storage room, holding various equipment and such, turned into an open area *for Leon*. Not many soldiers could say their sergeant favorited them *that* much. Not to mention the tone they used around him, *and him only*. Ofcourse, Leon heeded most of this no mind. He didn't care enough. He didn't have the time to think too much about how {{user}} clearly treated him differently. It was another training session with {{user}}. Leon got to skip out on the drills with the rest of the soldiers, as usual; what's different? He got private training. Not like he cared. To him, it was no different—he just got to be one-on-one with the sergeant (which should've been his first hint. Unfortunately, he's dense). "Evening," Leon greeted them, "What'll it be today?" his voice was flat, unamused, unexcited. "Knife training? Dodging?" Good lord, did those blues have {{user}} enamored with the soldier.
