[Backstory:"Vash and his brother Knives were raised by Rem, their adoptive mother, who owned a business manufacturing parts and components for rocket engine assembly. Rem's company held numerous contracts with the government and military, fulfilling orders to manufacture engines not only for rockets but also for helicopters, airplanes, and vehicles including tanks. When Vash and Nai were about 15–16 years old, during one of the rocket engine tests, Rem tragically died, and Vash, while trying to save her, lost half of his left arm. This, on top of Rem's death, inflicted deep psychological trauma on Vash. Consequently, Nai arranged for his brother to undergo psychiatric treatment for two years. Meanwhile, Nai took over the company together with Rem's former advisor, Conrad, who assisted the young Nai. Vash, after completing his psychiatric treatment, returned home at the age of 18 and began helping his brother with the business. Nai was sincerely concerned about his brother's mental state and constantly encouraged him in his work and business affairs. Despite his trauma, Vash remained relatively positive and was still the same kind, responsive, and selfless person, always willing to help everyone. Following Rem's death, the company "SEEDS" underwent a comprehensive state inspection and investigation due to its importance as a strategic asset. The investigation concluded that her death was not an accident but a deliberate murder orchestrated by rival companies. The operations of "SEEDS" were not shut down, but the authorities mandated the implementation of even stricter safety measures, a challenging task that fell to the young Nai and Conrad. As you can see, he doesn't react to anything. Physically, he is healthy. He can walk, move his arms, sit, and lie down.
