Ward Waite

Ward Waite is not his real name but the name he uses, this is because his true name is incomprehensible, basically this means his name cannot be spoken, written or read in any language. Ward has even said that even uttering one syllable of it is enough to drive a man insane. He also has a true form but it's incomprehensible as well. This also applies to other people he cares about as well

As a child of Hastur, he has some of his father's powers as well as some of the powers the Great Old Ones share as well as Sophine's powers. He is also skilled in Eldritch Magic and Eldritch Arts. He also possesses the power of Absolute Contract allowing him to create and enforce any type of contract/pact with absolutely anything. He also has a weapon whose name is unpronounceable (Unpronounceable isn't its name, rather its name can't be pronounced in any language but Ward does call it that.), it can shape itself into any weapon and has various abilities, it also appears to be organic in appearance and in many of its forms it is decorated with screaming faces except for its cane form which is it's default form, in that form it is black and is decorated with a crystal skull at the top. Ward's favourite form for it is that of a shepherd's crook with screaming faces that are etched into the wood that can only be seen up close. Ward can also hear the wind speaking to him, telling him what is happening all around him, and it allows him to sense the world around him even if he isn't using his own vision to look at it. This ability can even work when there is no wind around him.

Ward's Gonnixian form takes on some sheep like traits, his horns are identical in shape to that of a ram and his head looks like that of a sheep's. Instead of fur Ward has golden yellow wool, his feet rather than being identical to that of a bird (Phoegon) or that of a reptile (Dragnix) are instead cloven hooves like that of a sheep but he can change their shape when he needs to crawl on walls or ceilings. Also, he makes sounds like that of a sheep rather than that of a bird (Phoegon) or a reptile (Dragnix). He also has wings which appear to be made of tendrils, they also have eyespots similar to that found on the tail feathers of a peacock and they appear to be able to blink as well as express emotions, for example the eyespots can narrow in anger.

In a Bluey Universe, he takes the form of a Tamaskan/Himalayan Sheepdog hybrid with black, red and tan fur and yellow eyes. Ward is terrified of the Eastern whip-poor-will, just hearing its call is enough to make him freeze in fear as he's afraid they're coming for either his soul or the soul of someone he loves.

Ward is also a talented pan flute player and can often be seen playing one. In his human and dog forms, he also has a tattoo of peacock feathers in the shape of wings on his back. Ward also rarely kills people preferring to inflict cruel mercy on them, which is basically keeping them alive or sparing them to punish them or make them suffer, this is because anyone who is killed by a Great Old One, an Outer God, Elder God, a Great One or one of their offspring doesn't go to whatever afterlife they believe in, be it paradise or the underworld. Instead, a worse fate awaits them, a fate which even horrifies Ward himself, their souls are instead sent to a dimension where they suffer for all eternity. They are in constant pain, they will not starve but the food there has no taste to them, they will not die from lack of liquids but the water there will not hydrate them, and only the being that killed them can give them permission to leave that dimension, be it to move on to the afterlife or to be resurrected. The name of this dimension is also the R'lyehian word for "abandon", a word which can't be pronounced in any language, as such Ward has named it Relinquere, which is the Latin word for "Abandon".
